I never cared too much about instant coffees because all the hyph they make out about them and their description prooves they were never truthful, just false advertisement to sell their product, but Illy's surprised me greatly. Its description says it all, it is the best tasting instant coffee I've ever had in my life and I'm 69 yrs old and and consider myself as a coffee connoisseur. It truly is worth the price they have it marked up as because it's rare to find an instant coffee that tastes this really good. It has great quality, not harsh, nor bitter, it is enjoyable cup each morning. I highly recommend this to everyone.

While I prefer freshly brewed coffee, this is the best instant alternative I've been able to find. Great flavor and no acidic aftertaste that many others have.

Bold, non-acidic, clean coffee. No chemicals or other unhealthy processing. Organic content. Great value. Hands down better than any pod out there. Grab an electric Kettle to heat up the water and its great for coffee in a hurry too.

I do love my coffee, grind my beans every morning - but come afternoon sometimes want a little more with ice or hot and maybe don't want to be grinding etc. This fits the bill, yes it is intant, and I use a bit more than they say, but tasty and a step up from the usual instant.

Illy just knows how to make coffee. I only have one other "instant" brand (organic Mount Hagen) that I trust and drink. The Illy coffees I began acquiring a taste for through their limited coffee shops (serving espresso, cappuccinos) and so bought cans of their whole bean versions.On Amazon, I noticed the instant Intenso Dark Roast and gave it a try. Very good! Sure, I like the "process" and taste of making an Americano or Latte on my Gaggia machine from fresh ground whole beans, but hey, I can use hot tap water and get a perfectly flavorful cup with Illy instant Dark Roast. Nice to have around for those quick cups or when you just want a little different taste profile.

It’s a very nice quality instant coffee. Dissolves quickly into a type of “liquid gold” mixture. I recommend you try this out. I don’t drink it every day but when I do, it’s a good day. I will but this again for sure.

Putting coffee grounds in otherwise instant coffee does not make a cup of coffee better, especially when the grounds just end up sinking to the bottom of your cup, as if you ability to filter it was faulty : /I've been looking for a replacement for my, humble, and well loved Happpy Belly instant coffee, which was priced well and had great flavor. Unfortunately I can no longer find it here on Amazon, though it's an Amazon product.So I've been trying to find a replacement, for my morning Iced coffee.This is supposed to have 'character', but they do that by trying to imitate ground coffee, by putting ground into instant! It doesn't work. The grounds just fall to the bottom of the cup, while the instant that's left tastes a little burnt. That's not 'character' or flavor : lIm not able to send this back because it's a food item...Oh well. The search continues : l

I like espresso and dark roast coffees. I drink my coffee black so flavor is very apparent. I dislike bright coffee or an acidic blast when it hits the palette. I had high hopes for this one - maybe it’s arabica beans as a whole, but it’s got that tang I do not want in my coffee taste. I’m going to play with the ratio of water and see if it makes a difference, but I’m still looking for the perfect instant brand with smooth flavor. I’ve tried the big white bag and Whole Foods espresso packets are the best I’ve had so far. This brand doesn’t seem to be it, for me. :(

100% Arabic beans, you can’t go wrong

A good instant coffee though I was hoping it would be a little stronger. The taste is good and I would buy it again.
