Nice Beginner Fountain Pen
This is a great pen, it writes really well, I got the fine nib but it's pretty flexible and since the pen has a nice weight to it, it just glides right over in a nice bold line. I paired it with a simple ink from hongdian in brown, I would recommend to get something not so runny as this pen is extremely wet. It's a great writing experience and I really do love this pen. It's on my edc bag or my backpack when I'm at university. The reservoir is a nice size and it lasted me about 4 hours of note taking and was still 75 percent full. I highly recommend this, it's cheap with a nice build quality and a hefty weight. I have xl hands and long fingers and this is a good sized pen that I can comfortably hold for hours. 10/10.

Exceptional quality at this price point
Most others have already commented on the specifics of the pen: for the price it is surprisingly well-built, it has a nice heft to it, the brass finish lends the pen a great look especially when combined with the view of the ink in the translucent reservoir. I ordered mine with a stub nib and filled it with Sailor Dual Shading ink. The nib is nicely finished and does not at all look (or write) like an inexpensive steel nib. It writes very well, right out of the box with no tuning required (on Rhodia paper). The clip is springy but solid. The brass finish on the piston is a nice touch, given the pen's price. Even at 2 or 3 times the price, it'd be hard to fault this pen. At $28, it's an exceptional deal.

Great pen, but...
the EF nib a bit scratchy, dry and stiff. May need a bit of tuning. Have another one with the 1.1 stub nib. That one is very smooth and very wet, even if the downstrokes are wider than 1.1. Rest of pen is perfect.

Stunning, sturdy pen!
This pen has surprised me in every way. I thought it would be flimsy, but it's sturdy and has a great sealing mechanism. The quality is on point! It's a hefty pen, so it can be a little heavy for smaller hands. The grip section is perfect for my fat fingers, the nib is smooth, and the piston filling mechanism provides an easy way to fill with your favorite ink. The color is very nice, and I've paired it with Noodler's Rome Burning (name has changed), which is a perfect match. It's a handsome pen! I highly recommend it!

Another excellent pen by Asvine
The P30 Brass Acrylic is an elegant pen and a Great writer. The EF nib hits the sweet spot. It is comparable or perhaps better than my TWSBI EF nib. I have 6 Asvine Piston Fillers (P20, P50, J16 Titanium and this P30) in EF and F. I would highly recommend all of them. The enhanced ink capacity compared to converter pens makes them practical and convenient.

Nice Chinese pen
So I wanted a piston pen, no converter, and here we are. I was warned that it had a “wet” nib and to order one level finer than a Japanese pen so I ordered extra-fine. Yep, about the same as a Pilot Metropolitan fine. It comes in a padded plastic “gift box”. It’s a heavy pen and physically large so it fits big XL hands like mine (unlike the Metropolitan which is a small pen that feels cramped in my hand). It has a screw cap so it’s slower to deploy but more reliable at staying closed in your pocket. You can post but it makes a very long and heavy and slightly unbalanced unit. Obviously be careful not to turn the piston knob that is the end of the pen when you post. It writes smoothly but as noted wet for its nib size. It is a weird combination of traditional brass look and clear demonstrator look but it works for me. I am using Noodlers Eel Black lubricated ink and with that ink it writes well and as smoothly as my Pilot Metropolitans, which are the Toyota Corollas of fountain pens, boring but reliable as bricks. All in all a nice Chinese pen, with the caveat about nib sizing.

Very solid, good quality pen
This pen holds a lot of ink. It's very solid feeling. The cap screws on which has advantages (example: less likely to pull ink out in a blob when you take the cap off) but might not be your preference. The nib feels good and the feed is consistent. The point off is because a Fine nib shouldn't be putting out so thick a line. It's definitely a medium which is really limiting if you're writing in a quality notebook. Overall an excellent pen for the price. I'd just recommend ordering the Extra Fine nib for most uses.

Beautiful, economical and as smooth as butter nib on this beautiful pen
I have loved my Asvine Pens and I use broad and stub nibs. This pen is beautiful and the 1.1 stub nib adds flair to my writing. Almost like calligraphy without the work and precision. The retro brass is lovely. While the pen can post, the posting is not very secure plus it back weights the pen. The nib was smooth as silk and the ink I chose flowed perfectly. The piston works smoothly and the pen holds over 3 ml of ink for long writing sessions with no fear of running out of ink. I filled mine with KWZ Old gold ink and love how it matches the pen. I didn't need another fountain pen, but I am very happy I added this one to my collection.

Beautiful, heavy and smooth writer
Beautiful, heavy translucent demonstrator piston pen. Removing the fully brass cap the pen's weight is perfect for my hand as is its length uncapped. The 1.1 is very smooth and wet and writes beautifully. Inked it with Diamine Firefly and wow! Just a recommendation: don't cap it when you write!

Una Preciosidad de 🔟!! 😍

I am happy with this purchase.
This is a well made pen. Easy to clean, it writes like a true EF. It has good ink flow and writes nice and wet. It has a nice weight to it. It holds a lot of ink and is easy to fill. I could have done without the black hair that was wrapped around the piston rod and piston though. But it was easy to take the piston out using a Twsbi wrench. While I had it apart I removed the hair, flushed it all out and applied some silicone grease to the threads and o rings as they seemed to be dry. The feed housing unscrews but I am not sure if the feed pulls out, I was unable to pull it out and didn't want to break anything by trying to hard. I am happy with the purchase. This is one of my favorite pens. Thank you Asvine for another excellent pen.
