These filters fit well, are easy to install, and do a good job catching everyday dust, pet hair, and other particles. The six-pack is convenient for regular replacements, and the MERV 8 rating works well for basic home use without restricting airflow too much. Overall, they are a practical and affordable option.

Very effective — the performance is almost the same as 3M. The price is reasonable, and the size fits perfectly.

This might be an odd size (well in my old house everything is a little odd! :-) so can be hard to find in my local store. These are reasonably prized and seem to do the job well. Instead of choosing more expensive filters with better filtration ratings for my situation having a higher airflow and less strain on my HVAC unit wins out. Good buy!

Bought these for our 20x20 box fans. After using our Furnace filters I found if caught a lot of dirt and cat hair. These are the perfect size and cost effective. My sons each took one home to use after seeing my old filter.

Finding reasonably priced filters in the size I need is quite difficult. Price on the ones I usually get was jacked up so I decided to try these. These are a tad bit smaller than the brand I usually buy. The ones I usually buy fit tightly and stay in place once I put one in. These don't. They are just loose enough where I have to hold it in place while shutting the vent door. They work fine but it's just not a tight fit like I feel it should be. I'd buy them again if my regular ones were too expensive or not available.

Recently had to replace HVAC (ugh) service people instructed me to stop using the very high allergy, bacteria, pet dander filters. They said it’s much harder on the unit because those filters somewhat restrict air flow. So I switched to their recommendation of MERV 8 filters. Even with a more frequent replacement these are still very affordable and work well.

Sizing was accurate, which is the thing that actually matters with filters. The 14x24x1 measured out right and slid into the return without any forcing or gap around the edges. If you've dealt with off-brand filters that come in a quarter inch short and leave air bypassing the media, that's not a problem here — the frame seated flush and the retaining clip closed over it normally. Install took seconds. Pull the old one, drop this in, done. The media itself looks well made. The pleats are evenly spaced and hold their shape rather than collapsing when you handle the filter, and the cardboard frame feels sturdy enough that it isn't going to bow in the housing over a few months. MERV 8 is the right call for general household use — it catches dust and the usual allergens without choking airflow the way a higher MERV can on a system that isn't built for it.
