Asvab for Dummies 2023/2024: 7 Practice Tests Online, Digital Flashcards, Study Plan Videos

Honestly this thing is amazing. I don’t usually review stuff but this is an exception. Most of the stuff in the asvab is usually high school level stuff. So if you’ve been out of high school for a couple years and don’t remeber much I highly recommend this book. It also covers electronics and mechanics that were never thought in high school. Using this book I was able to get a 77 on my asvab which opened up almost every job opportunity for my branch which is the Air Force. It also has a bunch of practice tests you can take online once you register the book which is what helped me a lot. A lot of the questions on the practice test you’ll see on the asvab. I highly recommend this book for anyone who needs to remember material from high school, especially math. It’s also just a great book overall even if you are in high school it would definitely help you get a higher score.

Great study guide

My daughter took the test the first time in 0ct 2023. She passed but didn’t get the score she needed for her job. The score range changed for the job she selected. So I ordered this book to help bring up her score. My daughter used this book to study and she took her test again Jan 2024 and a he passed all areas. She did so well she was able to get the job she wanted. Her recruiter even asked me what she used and I told him Asvab for dummies! Her recruiter said this is the same book he gives to anyone looking to take the test. He orders a new one every year. So as you can see it’s a great book to study with! It’s gets a stamp of approval by an army recruiter.

I tried this book and several different subscription based study sites and found ASVAB for Dummies to be the best prep out of them all. I studied the heck out of this book and took and re-took the online practice tests. I was able to pass the ASVAB with a very good score. I highly recommend this book and if anything doesn't make sense, pair it with Youtube videos and websites for additional explanation. Be advised that the ASVAB will have questions that aren't familiar to the material studied in the book, but it lays a good foundation to make educated guesses. Take all the online tests and re-take them over and over to get the information down.
