Mine came with a cancer warning sticker. Did anyone else have that? Was that a mistake?

Hi there! We're happy to explain. California has a law called Prop 65 that requires businesses to label certain items that may be considered carcinogens. The ingredient in our lipstick causing us to label it is titanium dioxide. We are not currently required to label products that have titanium dioxide unless it is in powder form, but since these regulations are ever changing and in the interest of transparency, we have chosen to label our products that have titanium dioxide even when it is not in powder form. Since we don't know which products are being shipped to California and which are not, all of our products via Amazon containing the ingredient are labeled. We know it may seem alarming, but if you take a look at many other cosmetics (foundations, lipsticks, concealers, etc.) - maybe even some you already own - you'll find a large number of them contain titanium dioxide.
