Pros:- fantastic sound quality. It sounds crystal clear to me, which is one of the most important things to me with a speaker or headphones.- it’s pretty compact, about the size of a stapler. This may not be a pro for some, but I think it is. Easy to carry and such.-it seems well built, it doesn’t feel cheap to me at all.Cons:- bass is lacking a little, but it’s good enough for me. I feel like it’d be hard for a speaker of this size to produce a lot of bass, so this might not be a fair con, but I wanted to mention it anyway.Great little speaker for the money. I tried a couple other speakers and wasn’t happy with them. They had way too much bass, and they just didn’t sound very clear.This speaker is the opposite of those. This speaker doesn’t have much bass, but it is very clear which I love. I tried recording a few videos to show the sound quality, but my phones microphone didn’t do the speaker justice, it sounds much better in person.Give it a try, I think you’ll like it.Edit: After writing that review, I just started listening to my jbl flip 5 which I use in my garage. Man… the jbl may have more bass, but the tribit sounds more clear than the jbl. I may have to sell my jbl and get the bigger tribit for my garage nowFun fact, if you didn’t read the instructions or anything either… if you download the tribit app you can adjust the speaker equalizer. You can also turn off “auto shutdown” in the app, which is what I think some other reviewers have complained about.

Great sounding speaker for its size with noticeable bass. Great audio quality and volume with long lasting battery. The Bluetooth connectivity is great and fast with an aux port in the back for whatever you need. Looks great and is built with great feeling plastic and metal and has the right amount of weight and doesn't feel light or cheap. I like the black color and it just complements the speaker. Overall great speaker with great quality both physical and audio!!

I’ve got an old GoGroove SonaWave speaker purchased in 2012 which has served me well through the years and still works. It’s not a Bluetooth, though, and I couldn’t use it with my new phone. I also needed more volume in certain settings. After borrowing friends’ Bose SoundLink mini-speakers for use in VBS music, I decided to invest in a mini-speaker of my own, looking for a less expensive alternative to Bose. After comparing specs and experiences, I settled on this Tribit XSound Go.This speaker has been taken to the pool, beach, accompanied me on various car and plane trips, served in VBS music, blasts tracks when I’m working out at home – and it delivers. I switch back and forth easily from my iPhone to MacBook with Bluetooth connectivity. I’ve never had to re-pair after the initial setting, and all I have to do is disconnect from one device and reconnect with the other. Yet I can still use the aux-jack with my old non-Bluetooth laptop which I still use for music editing.I’m very much pleased with the volume and the sound quality. In leading VBS music in a choir room over the years, I found no significant difference between the previously borrowed Bose mini-speakers and the Tribit XSound Go. Neither are going to shake the walls in a larger room. In a smaller room like the spare bedroom where I do my workouts, the sound fills the room and I don’t need full volume to do it. The Housemate Husband is often closing the door so he can watch TV down the hall in peace. The bass notes come through fine, and I like a good bass when I’m working out. Again, it’s not going to shake the walls, but it’s more than adequate at less than full volume and covers up my enthusiastic whoops and hollers.Range for connectivity is good as well, discovered accidentally when trying to play something from my phone or laptop in the kitchen and hearing the sound emanate from the workout room. That’s a distance of 37 feet plus going around a corner another 6-8 feet.Some folks have faulted the speaker that there’s no forward-back button on the controls. Check the instructions: pressing play twice skips a track, pressing it three times repeats…. It works! As it is, I’m more likely to use the phone or laptop controls to skip or repeat.Time between charges is more than adequate. I’ve never really kept track of how long a charge lasts, but in taking the speaker to the pool several days a week and using it 2-3 hours at a time I may need to charge it once a week. The light by the power button will start flashing red slowly when it’s getting close to needing a recharge (those instructions again!); by the time the speaker tells you “Battery low” and the red light is flashing faster, there’s not much of a charge left and it’ll shut off within a few minutes.Overall, no drawbacks, only positives in over 9 months of regular use, and I can recommend this speaker for home and travel.

I got this one because it has a nice size and a long battery life and is very portable and durable. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and I have decided that the buttons on top are black on black and difficult for me to see so I can't make adjustments by feel without really taking a look at it to make sure I'm getting the right button. I took off one star because I could not use the function keys easily. Otherwise the sound is great and the volume sounds good at really low levels to really high levels.

It had been some time since I had a portable bluetooth speaker... I was always losing them or they wouldn't work when I needed them or in the context I wanted them to or the battery life would be generally insufficient... HOWEVER, I made the right decision by getting back in the game through my order of the Tribit Sound Go Portable Bluetooth Speaker. This light, affordable and compact speaker packs a punch for a few reasons. Firstly, the sound quality is a 10. Not only does it get as loud as you would need for even a crowded outside gathering, but also the quality of that noise is like it's coming from an expensive car or home living room system. It has incredible bass, treble, balance and amplification. Whether you're a musician or a casual fan, you'd agree this speaker sounds professional. Second, the features like 24 hour battery life and being completely waterproof are no joke!!! My friend's car audio system died so I let him borrow this from me for a few weeks and he told me he would only have to charge it more or less once a week! It just kept running! To be honest, it was hard to get my speaker back from him because he was that content with the job it was doing as a replacement for his busted electronics. He ended up keeping it nearly two months. Also, being "waterproof" isn't something I feel confident about most of the time when it involves something run by electricity. I've tested the Tribit XSound out in a hot springs, a jacuzzi and the shower to the point it was like I was looking for trouble, but it withstood all the water tests I gave it! You could ever hear the words of the songs under the water in the jacuzzi. Modest Mouse has a nice melody even with hot tub bubbles pumping... Oh and also, the bluetooth works! Which, in my own experience, is not always guaranteed. With the XSound, I've never had a single issue. Thirdly and lastly, I can't get over the price point for this speaker. I would recommend it just as highly if it was double the price but for $35.99, this is ridiculous! It's a 10/10, A+ and worthy of many gold stars. Sound quality, battery life and impressive features at an unbelievably great price is what you get when you purchase this product.

I set up a mini projector in my bedroom and needed something to improve the sound. I didn’t want to get an expensive soundbar so I opted for this little speaker as a starting point to see if I needed something more. WOW, this so far exceeded my expectations! The sound is incredible and I even needed to turn it down a little bit. It was incredibly easy to set up and pair with my Firestick. In no time at all, I was set up and ready to watch Star Wars projected against my bedroom wall simply by pressing the power button. It also has volume buttons, but I was able to control the speaker’s volume levels with my Firestick remote after pairing. I had no issues through the course of 1.5 movies. The battery held up just fine and I don’t even need to charge it yet. It’s a small, sleek speaker that takes up no room at all. I put it on my dresser while using it and keep it stored in a drawer when I’m not. Such an awesome purchase and I could not be happier with it.

I bought this speaker to go with our Echo Dot because I had heard that the Dot speaker is nice, but not great. I couldn't be happier with that decision! The speaker on the Dot is ok, but it's not good enough to use when we have people over, while we're outside playing, or while we're swimming. This little speaker is AMAZING!!! It charges quickly, the charge lasts through all day use and it is LOUD! And loud in a good way! We listen to all types of music - rock, rap, r&b, country, pretty much anything - and the sound quality is spot on, no matter what type of music we're listening to! The other day I connected the speaker to my phone and played some music from the Amazon music app while we were in the pool. I left my phone on the porch, about 50-55 feet away, so it wouldn't get wet and had the speaker on a table right next to the pool. It never lost the signal from my phone and at about a little over half the volume it was loud enough to be heard over the kids (and I have a 3 year old and an 11 year old that don't believe in talking, they prefer yelling), the pool filter running and an attachment we have for the pool that turns the clean water from the filter into a fountain that gets pretty noisy. We were in the pool for about 2 hours and the speaker got pretty wet from all the splashing (though it never got totally soaked or submerged) and it's still working like it was brand new. What I was most concerned about was it's ability to survive being dropped or whacked against something pretty hard because my 3 year old can be brutal to toys, or pretty much anything she gets her hands on! So far, it's been dropped at least 3 times, knocked into the wall twice while she was holding it and dancing/spinning and sat on about 5 times because she always ends up leaving it on the couch or chair (both of which are dark brown) instead of a table and sure enough someone (including my 140lb self) ends up plopping down on it. No damage to the speaker AT ALL!!! For spending just under $30 I feel like we got more than our money's worth! If I do one day have an issue with the speaker, I'm fairly confident this seller's customer service would be more than helpful with resolving any problems. I say this because they reached out to me after I bought the speaker to thank me for my purchase and to provide their contact information should I have any questions, concerns, or issues. About a week after I received the speaker they touched base with me once more to thank me again for the purchase, to say they hoped that I was happy with the product and to let me know that they were always available to help in any way possible. Now I know that actions speak louder than words, but since I have been more than happy with this speaker I have had no reason to put their "always here to help" claim to the test. If I should ever have to contact customer service in the future, I will update my review. I apologize for the length of my review, but I'm just so happy with this little speaker! I usually don't leave reviews because most of what I purchase on Amazon turns out to be just what I expected, no more and no less. But I've been so impressed by this Tribit speaker that I felt I had to share my experience. I hope this is helpful to anyone trying to decide if they should click that purchase button on this item. If you do, I sincerely believe that you will not be disappointed!!! 😄

I was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality given the size of this speaker. I initially purchased the Soundcore 2 by Anker and the clarity was just not there and since it was not compatible with the Soundcore app, I couldn't adjust the EQ settings. This speaker does not require adjustment as it has an excellent balance between bass, mids, and highs... and I am picky about audio quality. I wasn't seeking thumping bass from a speaker of this size but I was quite impressed with the depth in tone of the songs I have played through it thus far. Please note that I have always been a fan of Soundcore products, so this is not a slam on their products, but this is my 2nd purchase of a Tribit device and I am 2 for 2.UPDATE 7.3.26: let me start my update by stating that I cannot imagine that there is a BT speaker of this size at this price (or possibly any price point) that could possibly sound better than this little guy. The reason for this update is that I discovered that the Tribit app works with this product and allows you to adjust the equalizer or pick from a selection of presets. I don't believe any other device at this price point allows you to use an app even if they have an app (e.g. Ankor and others I looked at). One other thing I would like to note and that is that base doesn't just mean "thumping", It also has to do with depth of tone...if you expect to get thumping base from a speaker that's about the length of a cell phone, don't buy a speaker this size, and don't leave a negative review that it doesn't have enough bass, because you're expectations are illogical. The sound clarity and depth is shockingly good for a device that's about the same length as my cell phone. For the record I have never gone back and added more positive comments to a review and more importantly I'm not receiving anything for this review I'm just amazed by this speaker...just buy it!!

Looking for a robust cheap waterproof speaker for using at work/in shed etc, saw a decent review of this on CNET I think, and for the price the sound quality is remarkable as well as durability and battery life. It's not 'hi-fi' but compared to similar sized offerings i've heard from ue, JBL, bose, Samsung it's equal if not better audio performance for 1/4 the price. In terms of bang for buck, probably unbeatable.

Se comparado a JBL Autentichs, pasmem, ela faz bonito… lógico que a Autentichs ganha, mas estamos comparando uma caixa de 4mil vs uma de $300 … os baixos da Tribit surpreendem, bem como sons agudos, até 98% do volume o som fica perfeito, não distorce … o som é alto pra caramba. Conexão ótima com o celular, funciona mesmo bem distante sem perder a conectividade.Bateria, pasmem, levei ela para praia, o dia inteiro tocando a 50% do volume, quando foi a noite ainda tinha 70% de bateria… dura o dia inteiro, tranquilo, diria até 2 dias, estimo que dure cerca de 16horas de uso em volume alto. A qualidade dos materiais da caixa é ótima, bons materiais, ela tem um bom peso, bom o suficiente para garantir a qualidade de som e também bom o suficiente para ser portátil. Já é moderna e vem com o carregador tipo c.Ela vem com uma corda para amarrar na mochila, poderia ter vindo com um ganchinho, que comprei por $10 e ficou ótimo.Sem detalhes, pode comprar que vale muito a pena, principalmente vs JBL clip, flip e wind.
