My partner and I are VERY picky about the taste of our water (yes, we can absolutely taste the difference lol), so when we moved into our new place and realized there was no fridge water dispenser, finding a good alternative was pretty high on our list. After doing a lot of research and reading reviews, we decided to try this instead of dealing with bottled water or signing up for water delivery. We specifically wanted something that was simple, didn’t take up a ton of counter space, and most importantly, didn’t need to be hooked up to our kitchen sink. This ended up solving pretty much all of those problems! It was easy to set up, is relatively compact, filters the water efficiently, and the water actually tastes good. For what it does, I also think the price is pretty reasonable compared to some of the other options we looked at. One of my FAVORITE things about it is the glass pitcher. I really dislike storing drinking water in plastic, so having the filtered water dispense directly into a glass was a huge selling point for me. The only minor downside is that the pitcher itself is fairly small, especially for two people who drink a LOT of water. We found an easy workaround, though. I bought three large glass water jugs (see photos) that we keep in the fridge and just transfer the filtered water into them throughout the day. It has worked perfectly for us, and so far the machine has had no problem keeping up with how much water the two of us drink. Overall, I’m really happy we found this. If you want filtered water without bottled water, deliveries, plumbing, or a huge system taking over your counter, I definitely recommend it!

First just for clarity of my review - This is my first water purifier I've ever owned. I live off well water in Texas. Thus would never trust or want to drink it as when I did a quick 'taste test' it just did not taste right. Also, noticed that if you look in your toilet bowel you might see some sediment sitting there - this is a good place to check, btw. Well, it was sand from over time. So I ordered an electronic water (ppm water tester) tester. Wanted to see what this well water would come in at. From what I understood is that if you score 40 or lower, then it's drinkable. My water straight from the tap came in at 849. Ouch! So I knew I needed a solution and my continued path of just buying bottled water is not it. I picked up this device and proceeded thru the setup which was very easy and fast to get the machine ready to take on water. Once you get the machine ready it needs to go thru a flush cycle which was very easy to do. Just fill the back container with water and put a container in front and send water to it, just taking the water from the back thru the filtration system to the front. You do this a few cycles, but my bonus was that I could test my water coming out with this device to see that it's gotten to where I would like it to be. Btw, I also used my tester up against water taking directly from bottled water too. Wanted to see what I was drinking and what score. Once I've done around 3 cycles of water, I felt I was at the right spot. Remember I started at 849. Btw, I've tested my water out of the tap at different times and you will get different results when working off well water, which btw, most would say well water should be pretty clean. I would get different scores but all of them were above 600. Again, my target is under 40 to make it drinkable. Bottled water came in at 25. When I tested after the 3rd flush cycle, my score was 30! Yes, 30! Thus my subject line of wow, just wow! This device just works and works beautifully. And my taste can't distinguish the difference from my bottled water to drinking from this. I just take a picture, fill it up and put it in the fridge. So how does this do it? Well, it has two filters in the back that will process around 528 gallons of water before you need to change them. These two filters (CF & RO filters) are just part of it, it also has UV purification too. And that UV continues to keep the water safe that is sitting after the purification step from the filters. CF is a composite filter for sediment which I know I have lots of. RO filter is your Reverse Osmosis filter that will remove a large amount of different contaminants. The tank in the back hold 1.3 gallons. There are 3 buttons for 6 oz, 12 oz. and 15 oz. As well, a button for continuous flow - which is very handy when filling up a pitcher. And THIS device happen to have a lot of video reviews from many different types of people who were the ones that gave me the idea of having a test unit to validate their findings and thus this helped me confirm I was buying the right product for me. I've been using this unit for a few months now and I wished I would have found it years ago. It just does a great job in giving me clean / drinkable water without me continuing to waste money on buying bottled water.

I wish I could refund this product, but it did not start to produce foul tasting water until about a month in. Unfortunately the system failed just outside of the return window. TL;DR: - Internal reservoir causes the water to taste horrible after a month - Two expensive filter replacements required (at least) every 6 months (2 months in my case) - Misleading: advertised as easy to maintain, but requires constant maintenance - Instruction manual is occasionally unclear and seems to have been hastily translated into English - Go buy a standard Brita, Pur, or large storebrand filter tank to save yourself time and money I purchased this filtration system in February '24, and was ecstatic to find that the water which was filtered by this system had a great taste... for about a month and a half. When I first opened the package, I was surprised to find that the system required nearly 45 minutes to setup. Connect the system, fill the tank full, flush the system (takes at least 5 min.), refill the tank, and repeat for 5 cycles. I assume this is done to get the filters wet and simultaneously wash out all the dangerous residual chemicals from the factory. Interesting that the product page boasts "💧NO INSTALLATION REQUIRED - Simply plug it in and enjoy purified water instantly. Eliminating installation hassles and complex filter replacements." This was not my experience, and I would best describe much of the claims of ease to be outright misleading. While going through this initial system flush, I decided to read through the manual, which was... also interesting. I noticed many grammatical inconsistencies and odd word choices, which led me to imagine the manufacturing team hastily running their instructions through Google translate. English aside, I noticed that the manual instructs you to do the following: - Remove, empty, and rinse the tank once a day - Clean the tank, strainer, diversion sleeve, and valves at least once a month with soap and water - Run 10 tbsp. commercial descaling solution and/or 2.5L white vinegar through the system every 2-4 weeks (you will not have filtered water for at least 2 hours, and may have to repeat the process) Rest assured, you will spend more time than you think maintaining this system. In your first month of ownership you will likely feel that you have to perform only minimal maintenance, and you might even write a great review on how great the water tastes and how neat it is to have clean water at the press of a button during the day. But eventually, you will probably end up in the same boat as me, regretting that you threw over $360 at a product that did not perform as advertised. When I first noticed the water tasted bad, a little over a month in, I figured it was time to follow all of the cleaning instructions. After spending a portion of the day performing all of the tasks in the manual, I was left with water that tasted *almost* as good as it did out of the box. The taste, however, quickly deteriorated over the course of the following week. At this point, I begrudgingly decided to replace both filters (which were advertised to last up to 6 months) and perform a full flush and reset of the system. This seemed to temporarily improve the taste of the water, but after a couple of days, the water tasted bad again. At this point, the water tasted like it had been soaking in plastic... which led me to my hypothesis: the internal reservoir (which is unreachable for cleaning/maintenance) must be made of cheap plastic. The system filters your water through two seperate filters (great) but then dumps it into a cheap plastic container to be baked by UV light (not great). You nice, clean, filtered water is stored in a container that you cannot easily clean and which makes your water taste horrible after only a month of use. The price tag on this filtration system is not worth the trouble. If you cannot install a piped water filtration system or get a refrigerator that filters your water, I suggest going to a nearby store and picking up a Brita or Pur filtration tank, which has filters that need to be replaced once every 2-3 months, but which will perform as advertised at a much lower pricepoint. To the manufacturers: Please spell check your instruction manuals and consider replacing the current internal reservoir with a different material such as glass. I do not leave Amazon reviews, but this product irritated me to such a degree that I decided to let everyone know what my experience has been like. If you read this far, thanks for hearing me out, please consider a different water filtration solution.

I’ve been loving this filter, especially here in CT, where the tap water tasted like it had a strong chlorine presence. Since using the filter, the water tastes so much cleaner and clearer—no noticeable chlorine taste, and it feels crisp and refreshing. The difference in taste is definitely noticeable. It’s also easy to move around, doesn’t take up much space, and is simple to clean. The build quality feels sturdy and well-made too. I also like that the filter only needs to be replaced once every 6 months, which makes maintenance pretty hassle-free. Overall, really happy with it.

I’ve been using the SimPure Y7P countertop RO system for a while now, and overall I’m very satisfied with it. The biggest advantage is the water quality and taste—you can immediately notice the difference compared to regular filtered water. The RO + UV filtration does a great job, and the water tastes clean and fresh every time. I also really like the design. It’s compact, slim, and fits perfectly on the countertop without taking much space. The fact that it requires no installation is a huge convenience as well. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the water tank size. It’s slightly on the smaller side, so I find myself refilling it more often than I’d like—especially for a family. Sometime it makes noise after refill during filtering. That said, I was aware of the tank capacity when I chose this model, so it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable, compact, and easy-to-use RO system with excellent water taste, this is a great choice. I would definitely recommend it. If a larger tank version is introduced, it would be perfect.

I was looking for a filtration system for my home my son had one "The Sim Pure Filtration System Y7T-C Countertop unit" after tasting his amazing water I had to get me a Sim Pure Water Filtration System it is an amazing unit, it actually puts out wonderful tasting water. I tested my water before I flush the system it tested at 193 PPM in the red after flushing my system and testing the water again it came back and amazing 33 PPM what a difference! Sim Pure System is also an amazing value, it comes with two filters and a filter for the pitcher and the pitcher not only will you get great tasting water but you also will save on bottled water by having this system in your home. Also this Sim Pure System is very stylish looking in your kitchen or anywhere you want to put it and easy to maintain and operate. Don't hesitate try it you have plenty to gain a wonderful water filtration system and great tasting water! You won't regret getting this system😁

This is a modified review after using this filter for 8 months. I gave it a negative review after experiencing continuous problems with it. The symptoms included repeated error messages, slow filtering and frequent stoppages before the fill tank was empty. These problems didn't go away after changing the filters. SimPure reached out with a suggested fix that included backflushing the unit with a citric acid solution. That appears to have fixed my problems. Hopefully this review can help others experiencing similar problems. The filtration motor on the SimPure has several speeds. It pays to know what "right" sounds like during normal operation. The unit will rev up briefly up at the end of a filter cycle. If the sound of the motor changes when filtering it may indicate that scaling has built up around the inlet. On my unit, the filtering sound got noticably lower as if the pump was struggling. The filtration process also took a lot longer during a cycle. I'm guessing the turbidity and dissolved solids from my well water (or the tap water I used before I moved off grid) caused scaling to build up. When this occured, the unit would stop filtering and all the lights would flash. SimPure gave me the following trick that I adapted to sort my unit. Step1: Fill up the feed tank with 10 tablespoons of citric acid powder and mix well. It will bubble like it's carbonated water. Step 2: Put the feed water tank with the prepared solution back on the machine and plug it in. Step 3: Push and hold the Flushing button for 5s, you will hear 1-beep, the Flushing button will be on, and the System will flush the machine for 60 seconds and stop. Repeat this flushing step five times. Step 4: Unplug the power and let it stand for 2 hours. Step 5: Remove the feed water tank, empty these solutions, and clean the feed water tank with tap water. Step 6: Fill the feed water tank with tap water, then plug in the power supply. Wait for the "filtering" indicator to go out; press the "Flushing" button to dispense water to flush the machine and remove any odor or taste from the descaling solution. If the sour taste remains, please repeat for a few more rounds until the water tastes clean. Note: If the scale is very serious or the problem is still not solved after maintenance, please repeat steps 1-6 one more time. If these steps do not resolve the issue, we are more than happy to send you a new unit ,may i know it is fine for you? Please kindly help us confirm the information in the following format: My overall opinion: The unit is good for several liters of water per day unless you want to spend a lot of time standing by the machine to fill the external tank and wait for filtering. The internal tank holds around 20 ounces of filtered water, and it takes 5-10 minutes to filter that amount from the fill tank. If you have a family of 4 and expect to live off the water from this, you'll likely need a higher capacity machine. For the price, you won't find one that filters more water than the SimPure. For me, 2-3 liters per day is fine. I keep 15-20 gallons of water stored in case of an emergency (well or electricity go down), so the SimPure is my primary source of filtered water. For a household of 1 + some critters, it does fine.

Thanks SimPure Water, I have received the product today. Very good packaging for safe delivery (USA to Canada), water purifier installation & flushing was very simple, I really like the design of the purifier, compact & efficient. To add , I really like the taste of water 100%. I tested my tap water (Toronto) TDS was 110PPM, after SimPure filtration TDS dropped to 6-7PPM, pure & tasty water. Far better than Brita Filtered Water / ZeroB Filtered Water which I used for past 2 years. Initially I was bit hesitant to spend $450+ for RO water purifier, but SimPure Countertop RO water purifier is worth every penny. I will definitely recommend to all my known friends who are looking for RO water purification system. I will update the product review again in 25-30 days time.

Water purifier is working as described, purified water tastes great, without the residual chemical taste from a Brita filter. Very satisfied with the product. Easy to use and no installation required. Just plug it in to get great and pure tasting water.

La calidad de agua que filtra es muy buena. Pero, cada vez que une cambias el agua (lo cual es constante por la capacidad de 5 L del tanque), toma mucho tiempo y hace mucho ruido. Y algo a tomar en cuenta es que si no hay energía eléctrica, obviamente no funcionará.
