I was a little hesitant to order this product. A 10X42 Monocular for under $20..00 I had second thoughts. I did however order the product and I was very surprised of the quality and clarity of this "mini telescope." Once you get use to adjusting your eye to the view it is very easy to use. Why do I say this, if your eye is too close or to far from the eyes piece all you see is black. With a few adjustments this issue is resolved. Instructions very basic not much info...only to moveable parts focus knob on top of the monocular and the eye piece adjustment you must adjust the two to get rid of the black view. Absolutely a great value for $20.00. I am a stargazer and just to have something small and easy to spot something quickly in the night sky has enhanced my stargazing experience. I also got it to use when I hear something at night or if my neighbor's dog is barking (a very good dog by the way, only barks when he see's someone) looking out the window at night your eyes can play tricks on you, "is there someone by that car or is someone moving in the shadows", with this monocular you can easily see what is going on at night.

I use product for bird and neighbor watching. You will not find a better monocular for the price. Clear crisp and bright viewing. Two focus wheels work together to produce clear images. First zero in on focus using the top wheel. Then fine tune your focus with the eyepiece wheel. The two focus wheels require just the right amount of effort to change focus. In other words they don't jump all over the place when you touch them. Also has eyepiece relief adjustment. About 6 mm of adjustment. handy for me cause I wear glasses. Love the exterior coating. Very much non slip, almost a little tacky. very nice. Comes with connection on bottom for mounting to tripod. It does not have a special night vision feature. But you can use at night if you are looking at something that is lit. Only suggestion for improvement is to have somebody that is better versed in English to write the instructions.

I bought each of my 4 grandchildren one of these (ages 3-17) and even the 3 year old can focus it. They all loved them and I bought myself one and also love it. So easy to focus compared to binoculars or the 3 other type monoculars I have. And focuses so quickly too. A friend used mine at the beach and is ordering one for her daughter. Today I bought 3 more, one to share with friends so I don't have to keep handing them mine and being without while they are enjoying the views and the other 2 for future gifts. So easy to pack for travel due to their size and light weight. I definitely recommend these for young and old. I have a butterfly garden and bird feeders and they come in so handy to view them.

I needed a lightweight scope to bring with me on archery ranges or courses. I think for the price this has suitable quality but it just wasn't clear enough for me to see where my arrows landed from even 40 yards. I ended up going with high-range binoculars as I found monoculars hard to stabilize. It's probably a great item for hikes or walks. For more precision purposes, I recommend spending a bit more money.

I absolutely love the monocular. I have taken it bird watching already and it’s great. Very clear image, the main focusing knob is in the Perfect spot and perfect size as well has a super smooth action. The size and weight is perfect. The twist up eyepiece is great because sometime i bird with glasses but can still use the monocular because I still have a large field of vision especially with the eyepiece twisted down. Overall a fantastic product, 5 out of 5 stars, worth every penny lol. It does just as a good job as any of the big name brands like Nikon, Zeiss, or Swarovski but at a fraction of the price. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a interest in optics who may want a change from binoculars.

I have been looking for a monocular to help me read small numbers from 10-50 feet away for my job. I work in large facilities with elevated equipment that is hard to reach, but I need to know the numbering on the machines in order to collect my data an make decisions. Since buying this, I have dramatically increased my efficiency at work. I tried a couple before this but none could focus to the clarity level I get with this monocular. It is slightly bigger than I originally wanted (around 4-5 inches), but I found I actually like that. It is easier to stabilize at longer distances. The small adjusting nob on the top is very helpful as well when I want to quickly scope in on something I need to see very clearly. It is decent quality and definitely feels more expensive than it is. Would absolutely recommend. Could see it being good for nature watching as well.

This product is well worth the price. I personally Like binoculars better than monoculars, however this is a really good one. Easy to focus, clear picture and can be mounted on a stand. I have taken it hunting, and it is light weight, yet sturdy. I would buy again if not for the fact I prefer binoculars.

In warm weather in the morning I Love to sit in my super comfy lounge chair facing the warm sun in my swim trunks reading/studying the Bible. Watching birds ( I Love feeding them & squirrels ) They come quite close to me, But I wanted this to watch them and sent photo's to many friends I have in many other countires . I am a street preacher, teacher, evangelist--Mark 1:17. Always 100% For GODs Glory ( Jesus ) I have low cost binoculars, I have always had issues using 2 eyes with them. This makes it so I can see far and Very clear. I ordered the cell phone attachment also. I also have noticed ( Condition yellow- Military term--How GOD made me ) Across the street, new neighbors I know nothing about. I have noticed several times a car running with headlights on, sitting there with tinted windows sometimes for a long time. Just taking care of myself and other great neighbors . Not paranoid--Wise.

For less than $30, this is impressive. I have one bad eye which makes using binoculars a little c!umsy since I struggle to get a good image with both eyes open so I end up using my left eye only. I was looking for an alternative to my 15x70mm Celestron Cavalry binoculars for quick spotting and all around use on the water as I'm cruising the British Columbia coast. I was looking at some $$$ bushnell products and decided perhaps I should start with an inexpensive 10x power monocular to see if it would suit me better than 12x42mm binoculars so I wasn't expecting this Occer 10x42mm to be giving me a great view considering my eyes are not the best. All I can say is wow; this feels like a much more expensive optic to start with, smooth fluid focus knob, good secondary focus ring, eye relief is decent considering I'm usually picky about it, the rotating eye cup works great and allows me to use the optic with or without my glasses. Captive front lens cover and tethered eyepiece cover, brass threaded insert, textured rubberized grip, deep knitting on focus knob and ring, non glaring finish, good front lens recess to keep fingers off the octic, etc. Straight out of the box, walked up the dock and played around with it on a cloudy afternoon, superb image and not dim at all, looks like a proper 10x power and easily focused at any given range. Little bit later, flying 50km/h on a zodiac by myself, I was able to use it to spot logs and other boats despite the shaking and speed as well as the fog. I was considering buying a $300 bushnell mono after this one, but I think I'll just buy another one to keep on the upper bridge, because I don't think I'd be able to appreciate the difference anyway, as all I need is something to do quick spotting of water debris and wildlife without the bulk of a pair of binoculars. I usually buy $$$ quality equipment, especially with optics (flir, nikon, etc) and disregard cheap stuff, but this is quite impressive and an exception to my lineup. Hopefully it won't start to fog up, otherwise the image quality is great.

Product descriptions indicates that it can focus to > 1.5m object. Should be > 5m if not slightly more. When turning the focus dial, it makes a plastic noise like a plastic wrap being twisted. I'm returning this item. I replaced it with a Gosky Titan 12X50; the quality is way better and so are the optics.

Buon prodotto, ottimo ingrandimento, l'unica difetto è la puzza di gomma che hanno tutti questi prodotti, ne ho avuti diversi e più o meno hanno tutti questo problemino che con tempo un po' si affievolisce.

Product is really good for beginner birders. I’ve had it for a month and have used it almost everyday. Good construction and nice weight to it. Has fogged a little on really wet days but can still view out of it and it clears fairly fast. The eye piece cap doesn’t stay on snug and can come off easily but not a huge deal as it is attached to the base. Great product for price, highly recommended.
