Ouch!
I work in the church office and "loaded" all of the paper drip "protectors" onto the candles. So EVERYONE knows I did this. Come candlelight service, I noticed motion with some of the kids in front of me. The wax was burning their fingers! One of the parents switched the paper drip around, which made me wonder if I had loaded the entire box incorrectly! I was mortified. Upon cleaning up after the service I rushed strait to the box to discover I had followed the picture on the box and loaded it as shown. My only advice might be to use 2 per candle, one each direction? I really don't want kids to feel burning wax next year. Maybe I will ask an usher to take over this project...
