we ordered this for our exterior driveway spigot pipes and they are exposed to cold weather etc and these work great. The foil also makes them very visible.

These worked out awesome although I did not use them as they were intended. I cut them all in half and use them as toe protectors on two different mattress frames. Got tired of smashing my toes. LOL

Update: After getting through a couple of layers of wrapping plastic I discovered that this does have the self-adhesive foil wrap. It stops short at both ends and will certainly need foil tape for jointing. In fact I plan to fully wrap in foil tape (spiralled around) after installation for longer life.

The foam was very pliable and thick, which is good for lines not so straight. The radiate covering was long enough to completely wrap the product on the line, and very good adhesion. It would be nice to get these in longer lengths, but they join together very nice.
