4M Tin Can Cable Car, STEM Engineering Build Kit

The only problem is to find where to hang it from but otherwise very fun to use and reliable (was dropped several times with no damage)

I bought this kit to help with a college project where I had to design and build my own cable car system that could run automatically in a workshop environment. For that purpose, I found it very useful. The assembly process was straightforward, and it was easy to understand how the different components and mechanisms worked together. It provided a good basic demonstration of the principles behind cable car movement and helped give me ideas for my own design project. The instructions were clear, and the kit itself was simple enough to put together without becoming frustrating. It is also a good educational kit for introducing younger users to basic engineering and mechanical concepts. I did not actually use the completed model for extended operation, so I cannot properly comment on its long-term functionality or reliability. However, as a learning and demonstration tool, I found it very helpful. I did find it to be a great price.

Great toy for my son who loves to build things. He did need an adults help and one that knew about construction haha! It wasn't easy

This was a bit of a fiddle to put together but my 7 yr old nephew managed it with a bit of help. I cleaned off the paint on a can using wire wool before it was opened so it remained rigid. You don't have to do this but I thought it looked better all shiny like on the box. It worked really well running up and down the cable but does eat batteries.

This took me and my 9 year old about 15 minutes to build and he now proudly has it zipping across his room. He loves the self-reversing switch which sends it zipping back and forth without any help. I think when we have a little more time, we might create an open gondola to allow him to transport things with it but for now he's just having fun watching it go. You'll need an empty drinks can and 2 AA batteries to complete the set.

Needed a birdhouse to top off the stump, why not make it a gnomey one. 2 stumps each side, made own car,. Absolure brilliant, just height to ay with. Cannot fall off at that price. What cost to buy parts on own. Super bargain. Well done Amazom 100/10 forgot this. Also almost converted to mains power, be adding a s.all led for the inside

Its allright product, be sure you know what you are buying. this is not a toy, requires some assembly skills but easy to follow the instructions just need some attention. Sucks a lot of juice tho, 2 AAA battery (not top ones like Duracell) lasted less than 1 full hour. Also, it didn't come with the can so don't know where to get an unbraded one now other than a normal soft drink can, obviously it wont look as the box image.

This is a fun kit to make an electric cable car. My 6 and 4 year old made it with their dad. It really works, it has been up in our lounge for 6 months now and occasionally gets turned on and played with. It goes backwards and forwards without stopping so it's a bit repetitive. You need a can, and my only negative would be that you can't transport toys etc. because it's just a drinks can. We could fashion a clean, safe can with windows cut out but that just feels a bit too much effort!

Un divertimento assicurato. L'assemblaggio è molto semplice perchè le istruzioni sono ben fatte. Mio figlio si diverte tantissimo a costruire delle cabine fantasiose. Non pensavo che la funivia tornasse indietro in automatico veramente una bella sorpresa stimolante.
