100% what I needed
I had to reset the Admin password on a donated Samsung DVR. This remote did the trick! I will update with my model number if I remember to capture that tomorrow.

Unfortunately not a complete replacement for stock remote
This was a great idea had a good price and easy to track down however the remote itself does not have all the options that the stock remote for certain Samsung models “DVR/CCTV“ style devices this is supposed to be a direct replacement for her if you’re looking to get this due to the fact that you no longer have the original equipment for any complications such as hard resetting Soft reset changing password or administration information unfortunately like I said this is a complete waste of time due to lack of certain options here “freeze button“… “alarm button and a few other small differences that make all the difference thank you for your time good luck on finding what you’re looking for with replacement
