Great product but read the details
These pergola builders are of great quality however, when I purchased I didn't read the specs correctly and order 4x4 post and should have ordered 3.5x3.5 as the inside are smaller it would have made assembly a lot easier. They look great and value for the money husband, brother and neighbor were able to cut post to properly fit inside the holders

Tolerances too tight
These are ALMOST really good. Problem is, when they say the openings are 3.5", they really mean it. Which is just about what you want, but you still need to be able to get a 4x4 (nominal, 3.5" x 3.5" actual) into each opening, which is quite challenging, especially when you're trying to do it with a 12' beam overhead. Moreover, some of the internal weld beads make that 3.5" even tighter at some of the interior seams. I had to use a sledge to drive 4x4s into the side openings, and then figure out how to shave enough material off the ends of my beam to fit into the "bottom" of the T. I made it work, but compared to other brands' brackets I've used designed for 4x4s, these are quite a lot tighter than you want. An extra 1/16th would be great.

Pour une pergola qui a déjà un bon soutient , oui. Pour une job qui a besoins de plus de renfort, je ne sais pas si je prendrais celle-ci. Sinon, très facile à installer, première été donc pas d’idée encore si ça va rouiller à la long.
