I recently got a Doro phone for an older family member and it has been excellent for ease of use. The interface is very simple and clear, with large icons, a bright screen, and straightforward menus that make it much less confusing than a standard smartphone. The physical buttons are well spaced and easy to press, which is ideal for anyone who struggles with smaller touchscreens. The sound quality is also very good, with loud and clear calls that are easy to hear even in noisy environments. One of the best features is the emergency assistance button, which gives extra peace of mind for family members. The battery life is strong too, meaning it doesn’t need constant charging. Overall, it’s a thoughtfully designed phone that really focuses on simplicity and accessibility. I would definitely recommend it for older users who want something easy, reliable, and stress-free to use.

Bought for my elderly nan to replace a current doro phone. Was a little dubious purchasing on here for some reason, but didn't need to be. Phone works well of a nice size it is quite wide so probably not great for someone with grip difficulties or smaller hands. Easy to use, plus side it's bigger than original so the screen is bigger. Adjustable settings, loud for those with hearing difficulties. Addition of a camera this time so hopefully no sending random pocket pictures. Came with a plug and usbc lead with a usbc hole in plug. The wallpapers were a bit too busy for her to be able to see the time on the screen, so we took a picture of a plain black surface so she could see the screen functions and time easier as they were all a bit too bright and hard to see from.

Decent for the price, plastic used is quite solid feeling. Its better than a lot of the cheap Nokia phones for about £20. Big buttons make it much better to use than other cheap phones, the torch is ok, but the camera is abysmal. Display is nice and big and does the job. Loud speaker is not that great but functional. Very simple to use with basic menus.

I bought this for my elderly grandmother. She had never really used mobiles before. We got her a few over the past few years that she tried to use but couldn’t get used to them and they got stuck in a drawer. This one though, she got used to within a few days. She loves it. As someone who still uses the landline with no caller display and no digital phone book, she still gets excited that she doesn’t have to get out her address book and look up numbers, because now they’re in her mobile. It’s a great quality device, and it also gives us peace of mind as a family because she is in her 90s now so having a mobile that she can keep on her to ring someone in an emergency rather than struggling to reach the landline is comforting to us , and we’ve setup the emergency button on it too, which sends a few of our family members an instant text saying the emergency button was pressed, and then it automatically round-robin calls us while putting her mobile on loudspeaker so we can speak directly to her in an emergency. Excellent value for money . I can’t speak so much for the features, it’s a pretty simple device, but the emergency button feature is great (although I would say that it’s a bit difficult to configure that button, for a device that’s targeted to the elderly). It’s a good size phone, with good sized buttons and text on the display, and the battery lasts a solid few days.

Bought this for an elderly grandparent who had been through several phones and either couldn’t hear them when they rang or couldn’t work them properly because there were too many buttons to press to compete simple procedures like making a phone call. This is perfect, it’s easy to use, the buttons are big it’s and really loud. We’re 3 months in and have had no problems so far. Definitely recommend for older people who need a basic phone that just calls and texts.

In October 2023 I got one of these for my mother in law who is 90 with Parkinson’s and just needed a simple phone. It is important for her to have an easy to use phone so she can get help if needed. The phone lasted 7 months before the battery gave up so I had to buy her another identical one straight away . A call to customer service at Doro was a waste of time . They offered to repair the first phone . It didn’t need repairing it needed a battery but would be no use to me or mother in anyway as I’d already replaced the whole phone . Rubbish but expect nothing more for under 30 .

A good all round no nonsense mobile phone. Easy to use.

My 71 year old father was very upset when he put his SIM card in and nothing followed over we tried all sorts but nothing worked so he had to start from scratch retyping all his numbers over and because his old phones screen broke he couldn’t get the pictures either it ended up really upsetting him

Pour des seniors, ce produit est réellement adapté. Par contre la batterie du précédent n'a pas tenu un an. Peut-être un défaut isolé qui n'impacte pas tous les modèles.....

il est inadmissible envoyer un portable qui ne fonctionne pas et qui n'a surement pas été testé et de faire payer le retour a savoir (7,35 euros) ,cordialement

Purtroppo il telefono non ha la possibilità di mettere la lingua in italiano quindi per una persona anziana è inutilizzabile. Per questo ho fatto il reso.
