I haven't seen any signs of stinging and have used it TONS! No clue what that other person is talking about, it has healed up so many of my cats Hotspots AND realay helps to soothe the summer rash my pits get... you can IMMEDIATELY see their irritated skin go from bright red to pink. Distract with a treat for a minute or two and they are good to go for me :)

How long does it take to dry?

Hello Katie! The product typically takes 2 to 3 minutes to dry fully. Once the product is no longer runny though, you can let your pet go without worry that the product will fall off. We like to distract our pets with a treat and by the time they are done with the treat they should be fine to let play again!

My dog has a wart that she keeps scratching and licking wondering will this help her not to lick and scratch that spot?

Hello! Unfortunately no, this product will most likely not be able to help with itching caused by a wart, skin tag, or other skin growth. It works to help soothe redness and irritation. It is also not a miracle product and pets typically do not "instantly" stop licking an area, but owners should see the inflammation lessen within a day and the licking subside after a few days of application.

Is this medicated or just a sealant? Does it really stay on or does it just get licked off?? Trying to heal an inch in diameter wound on my cat!

Hi, it is not medicated. It is a spray on liquid bandage that dries and forms a seal/barrier against germs while providing moisture which helps soothe the area. We also offer Tough Shield which has Silver in it (known as a natural antibiotic and antiseptic and Tough Seal Hot Spot (which is a thicker liquid bandage gel formula), providing the same great barrier and moisture to help heal and soothe the affected area. While the animals instinct is to lick their wounds, it is recommended that you allow the are to completely dry before allowing them access, which will allow for the soothing to begin and the desire to lick will be lessened.
