Solid, and easy to mount
These took about 15 minutes to install, with most of that being spent locating studs. But once installed they hold very nicely. I have them holding some mast sections and booms for my dinghy.

Sturdy storage for lesser-used items
In my never-ending attempt to get the clutter off my garage floor, I had originally intended for these racks to be used for a ladder. The good news is that it's high enough off the floor that it would work. The bad news is that the ladder is probably too heavy for these racks. It says somewhere that they are rated for 50 pounds, and the ladder I had in mind is one of those aluminum collapsible 22' ladders that almost certainly weighs more than that. Additionally, because of how heavy the ladder is, it would make getting it down a challenge that won't get easier as I get older. But not to worry; there's plenty of other stuff that I have to get out of the way including an edge trimmer, chainsaw pole, and miscellaneous boards, pipes, and dowels. You might have random stuff like this propped up in corners -- these racks are perfect for stuff like that.Like some other reviewers, I chuckled when I saw the size of the included screws and the drywall anchors. Let's be realistic; unless all you're using these for are rolls of gift wrap, you don't want to rely on drywall anchors. Come to think of it, these things would be perfect for rolls of gift wrap, but I digress. Get yourself a stud finder and a 1/8" drill bit, make some pilot holes in the beams, and use some good wood screws (I used 2.5") to mount these. Tip from experience: make sure your drill bit is at least as long as your screws, and here's why.In an effort to make these short enough to really get the items off the floor as much as possible, it's now impossible to get a standard drill in there for easier mounting. I have one of those right-angle drill adapters, and it helped a little but I can't seem to figure out how to use that thing properly, so I ended up doing the screw tightening by hand. This was tedious but fine until I got to the end where the screw was longer than the drill bit had extended, and hand-tightening into a wood beam while standing on a ladder was challenging. If your drill bit is longer than the screws you're using, and you have a stubby racheting screwdriver, you'll get tired but it will be over soon and then you'll get to step back and enjoy the space you recovered in your room. I don't consider this a design flaw simply because they need to keep the rack shallow enough to truly elevate the items out of the way. Good product, and I like what it has done for my garage.

Solid product
Great product, but if it could be flexible in some way to orient to studs without adding additional 2×4 would make it perfect.

Useful Storage Rack - included mounting hardware under-sized
Got this to store my lumber off the floor, or now that I have the chance to look at them, I might figure a way to hang my 'little giant-style' ladder. The racks themselves are sturdy construction, and the foam pads are a nice touch to prevent scratches on the metal of the rack, or the items stored there if you were looking at bikes and such.Contrary to the picture, the kit does include 8x screws and drywall anchors so you can install both sides.HOWEVER, my issue (1x star deducted) is that the installation hardware included does not appear to be sturdy enough for these devices to be used in the way they are advertised/intended. If you were going to be installing into ceiling joists (which you should - honestly I'm not sure why they even bother including them or suggesting that mounting in drywall only would be the best installation for the intent of this rack), even using the included screws without the drywall anchors would probably be a little on the short side, since you'd have to go through drywall to get to the joist. I have plenty of stainless screws that I can use in their place, so it won't slow me down, but it seemed like a half-measure, that could potentially bias folks into installing these and then having them fail causing damage to their wall/ceiling, or worse, if lumber or pipes (per the description) fell on somebodyI've attached a picture of the size of the hardware (screws are about 1 3/8", but also fairly thin)So skip the included hardware, and install these into joists or studs, with some heavier screws (maybe also washers), and you'll have a storage solution at a good price
