Nice rack.
I'm giving this a five star review, even though I did not use it. It's unfair to knock a product due to it not quite meeting my needs. This rack is extremely well made and sturdy. The coating seems durable. I have decided to buy the more secure box that Hooke sells that is lockable. The seller offers options to resolve any issues, and was extremely quick in replying. I will be doing business's with them again.

Great cargo option for a Jeep TJ
I'm very glad that I purchased this. Cargo storage has always been an issue in my 2004 Jeep Wrangler. A TJ is just not built for it. This rack doubled my cargo space in the back and is a lot sturdier than I thought it would be.

Solid AF
Fits perfectly in my 03 TJ, and helps manage the junk in my trunk. Best secure storage solution for the price and is brilliant when matched with a hardtop to pop open the rear window to access the top side. Perfect dog bed shelf as well, my pug loves it

Definitely worth the price
This is a heavy duty cargo rack, very solid. Not afraid to put some weight on this rack. Installed very easy with existing hardware, no drilling needed, perfect fit. It will sit just above the tailgate. It has many holes for securing bungee cords too.

I like it, but...
If your able to follow pictures better than written instructions, then you might be alright. Leave everything loose at the beginning. One person can install this by themselves. I know this, because I did it this afternoon. Then again I have nearly 30 years of mechanical experience. Having 2 people would be a lot better, and faster, but it can be done by yourself, even with the top still on. If you don't want to remove your carpet, then it will take extra time to find and mark where your bolts need to go and cut the carpet. I simply removed the carpet and plan on doing a bed liner spray in down the road. Now I have twice the space. Since my wife has a 4 door Jeep Wrangler JKU, I will not be missing the back set in my TJ.
