A versatile lantern that's useful for camping, fishing expeditions, blackouts etc.The default white LED is very bright and some may prefer to use the slightly dimmer white LED 2nd setting which also saves power. The red light is also useful for a night light . The added feature of being powered by the supplied rechargeable battery or by standard batteries is a plus. The lantern can be hung by an hook which is supplied. Nice and light and collapsable design make this easy to pack and avoid accidently switching it on when not in use. Its advised all batteries are taken out if the lantern is going to be stored away for a while. Also to only use either rechargeable or standard batteries separately not both together and recharge with only the lithium-ion batteries inserted. Nice lantern for the price and well worth considering.

Good light, nice and bright, lasts a long time, have not used it as a battery backup as it seems to defeat the purpose of the lamp.

Used this on a recent camping trip. It works well; the five kids on the trip aged between 11 and 3 found it easy to use. Robust and compact. I found there is not much difference between the brightest setting and the dimmed setting but this was not a problem as you can slide it down so that it emits less light. Good product - so good I gave it to my sister and I will be buying another one.

Really pleased with the lantern - does everything claimed (apart from USB charger which I haven't tried yet). Using it every night to light the way for the dog when she goes for her nightly pee. Haven't tried her with the red flashing light as it would probably freak her out but will be really useful on long journeys if we have problems with the car. At £19.97 a real bargain. Also arrived within 2 days even though I didn't pay for speedy delivery (got free delivery by buying another item at the same time).

Compact and useful. Just waiting for camping season to begin again but initial impression is one of good construction. Can't comment on battery life just yet..

Cette lanterne est compacte et puissante. Petit bémol elle se décharge assez vite même en prenant des précautions néanmoins je la recommande.
