Functions
Functions great, but did they have to stick the sinkology logo right on the drain?

Simple drain.
This is simply a drain. No stopper, plug, or cap. Water goes in, water goes out. Installation... a "snake" , you know, the kind you learned to make out of play-doh in kindergarten, under the lip assures a water tight seal when you snug up the ring nut underneath. What they didn't tell me was the "tail pipe " is screwed into the body of the thing. Water leaked from those threads until I took it apart and added 4 layers of plumber's Teflon tape to the threads. Then all was well.

What scratches????
My house was purchased 2 years ago and I've had to ignore, a wobbly loose sink that did not drain properly due to a defect in sink manufacturing, including faucet ring and with the wrong drain installed, in my basement for that long so I finally decided to "FIX" it... sort of!I purchased it on 12/31/2019 ( WOW) but I believe I installed the first one WRONG but I wasn't sure because it leaked so I returned it and the new one fits perfect with one exception other than it didn't leak, if you zoom in you'll see some marks on the actual drain between the "tear drop" holes that I had to press down because there would be water that would not drain on it but I do not blame the drain, I blame the slope or lack of, on the sink!I am very please how the Sinkology TG01-AG looks even with the scratches that I made in order for the water TO DRAIN but eventually I'll polish the scratches away but for now all the water marks are gone but for now I'm left with the scratches:(

Love these for bathrooms and wet bars.
I’ve used these in several projects. Honestly, we do not keep water in our bath sinks or our wet bar. They are aesthetically made and go well with our copper sinks. Easier to clean than the regular drain. If you really to need to hold water, use a plastic drain cover for .99 at the hardware store.

Probably would by again
We love the way this looks and it was easy to install. However it leaked where the two pipes join we used plumbers tape and it still leaked. we finally put ALLOT of plumbers tape there and went as tight as we could go. It’s two days and so far so good..

Fits 1.75 inch sink hole! Pipe end is 1.25"
I bought a Sinkology copper sink with an odd size hole (1.75"). Thank fully this one works just fine! Also, the pipe end of this is 1.25 inch, not 1.5 inch. This was no where in the description, and is needed information when buying the rest of your plumbing!

get the vented sink and save the hassle.
Had some issues when first installing. It leaked from the threaded down pipe and head. Then I tried using a clear silicone sealant and it became nice and tight. It looks good in the copper sink - nice match.I had a pop up unit in there but it drained REALLY slow, even after cutting a breather/vent into that pipe. This one seems to drain faster but not like having an overflow sink and drain. Next time, I'll get the sink with an overflow and save the hassle.

Like the drain but not printing on the rim
It matches the copper sink and looks better than other drains on Amazon for copper sinks. I didn't like that Sinkology is permanently printed on the lip of the drain, very visible when you use the sink. If they want me to advertise their product they should pay me. I would have given them 4 star if it wen't for the printing.
