I bought this to display, but it would make a great trophy or reward for a baseball player as well. It's a perfect mini size but not too small. The glove looks really nice and real, just smaller. The gold is nice and shiny. Really unique item and well worth the price. EDIT: Bought a second one for a gift, and while the item is awesome, amazon put a big sticker right over the clear plastic display window. It wouldn't come off, so the display window and box are basically ruined even though the description said "Item will arrive in original packaging"- it's not original if it has an amazon sticker right on the front of the box. It would have been ok on any other part of the box- really disappointing as this is pretty much only a display item with no real uses besides looking cool. I would have paid the extra dollar or two for a "new" one if I knew it was going to be essentially ruined by a sticker placed without any thought.
