GU10 LED Light Bulbs 5w 6Pack Warm White 3000k 400 Lumen Equivalent 50w Halogen

I like to give a little while before reviews so I can give a more accurate reflection. The bulbs came well packaged and their plastic body makes them lightweight compared to equivalent glass halogens, and a lot less likely to break if dropped. The WE logo on the bulbs on the batches I received are unfortunately printed over the bulb details so the details are very hard to read. The bulbs do get warm after extensive use but surprisingly a lot cooler than the 3w LED bulbs I bought these to replace, and not warm enough to burn when touched or for any fire safety concerns. So far I have had no problems with the bulbs, there have been no instances of flickering or LED burn. All bulbs remain consistent, lovely and very bright. I am very happy with my purchase and will continue to recommend these bulbs to friends and family. If I need more GU10 bulbs myself then I will not hesitate to buy these again.

Was concerned as previous non-LEDs were not bright enough. These give off a very good light, well diffused due to plastic cover on bulb. So far very pleased. and at a good price.

This order of 5W LED’s are much brighter than I expected and all are working well. They are a replacement for the power-hungry 50W 12V halogens in our kitchen which, would you believe it, numbered 12. That is, the kitchen was consuming 600W for the lamps alone which, when added to the power consumed by the associated transformers, was a considerable expense. Now it is just 60W, no more than an old desk lamp. And, as a bonus, the kitchen doesn’t get so hot.

I really like these as they give of good light, but discovered they only last 2-3 years. The first batch of 12 I purchased 2-3 years ago have all started to fail over a couple of months. Still purchased another box as wanted them to match the ones that still worked.

Replaces the halogen bulb perfectly. The light is just as bright and the same warm white colour. The front of the bulb appears to be a frosted plastic so if you are not replacing all the bulbs at once it can look a little odd. I have lights that completely enclose the bulb and makes them a real pain to change. Hopefully I won't have to change them as often and that's a real bonus. On the downside the little suction cup I have doesn't seem to grip the front of these bulbs as well as it does the halogen bulbs making it more difficult to fit.

Good quality bulbs but turned out to be too white and too bright compared to the halogens we had before.

Ordering these lovely GU10 bulbs from amazon was a breeze. The bulbs themselves are not only brighter, but more energy efficient than the non LED bulbs I had in my kitchen before. They turn on instantly and take no time to 'warm up' to their full brightness. Its hard to come across good affordable GU10 LED bulbs but these are a perfect swap for the normal glass ones which seem to break easily when removing them with a suction cup from a hard to reach place like an inset lamp.
