How do you deflate the mat?

To deflate the air track all you have to do is open the plug.

Would you say the 13ft mat is suitable for an 8yr old to practice gymnastics (cartwheel, backhand spring, round off backhand spring, etc) on?

My granddaughter uses it she is 9 she does her cocktails round offs if your daughter is just doing in place back handsprings I would say absolutely. My granddaughter can't do back handsprings yet but she does her cartwheels you know backbends round offs she really loves it

How does the pump work?? I have plugged mine in, but it will not turn on.

There is a Red on off button by the handle of the pump. If the pump isn’t working when you turn it on, the pump is no good.
