Easy to put together, well made but no interest from our cat in playing with it. There was some interest from her as she watched us assemble it but then, when we switched it on she just backed away and went to sleep in the other room. The bird sounds like a squeaky wheel and that, together with the mechanical whirring noise is enough to put anyone, including the cat, off!

Waste of money. I thaught it would be better than this. Even my cats not interested 😞

The toy itself is okay if you've got nothing else of interest in your house but I think it is expensive - hence the three stars. We have my daughter's cats to stay when they go on holiday (they're 1½) and we chose this item for them but considering my grandson (who is 6) only has a few toys here I often find the cats batting his little figures around rather than playing with this. We've had cat toys in the past which maintain their interest such as ribbon on a stick for example but this one just didn't keep them going. One of the pair did come up and push it but wasn't impressed with the sound so we kept it out with no batteries in. I don't know what it is but it just wasn't for either of them.

Maybe one of the worse electronic cat toys I have seen. The bird moves up and down and that is it. My cats were scared of it. A cat toy to be successful needs to have something hidden that pops out.

OK, of the latest set of cat toys I've ordered this is the one that I had the most worry about and to be honest I felt it wasn't up to par compared to the others that my cats love playing with. This one is pretty dire, doesn't do much and to be honest with a loose spring for the cats to gnaw on lefft me worried that they might injure thier mouths with it. Yes it does move on the spring but overall my cats just pretty much ignored it and went for their other Petsafe toys to have fun with. All round, whilst it may satisfy some cats, mine pretty much ignored it.

This toy looked promising, but my cats were wholly unimpressed with it. It has a heavy base but doesn't move easily, certainly not enough to attract and hold their attention. It's easy enough to put together, though beware that batteries need to be purchased separately. Once it's switched on, it tweets most annoyingly and unrealistically - the cats didn't even seem to register that it was making a sound, but we rapidly got tired of it! We tried it out several times, but never managed to get any response at all from the cats. Disclosure: we were given a free one to try out and review, and were very glad we hadn't paid the rather steep price for it. There are better PetSafe toys out there to spend your money on, such as the FunKitty Dangli Cat Toy which has been a roaring success in this household.

This is an easy to put together toy but once you do, you'll maybe be wishing you hadn't. Once you start it going the canary just does a gentle bounce up & down while endlessly (& annoyingly!) tweeting. My cat took one look at it and that was her. Absolutely no interest in the least no matter how I presented it to her. And while elderly, she is quick to play with many other moving toys. I think it might have been better if the bird was a bit higher & moved in more directions maybe. Also it might have been good if it had maybe had holes to pop food into for additional interest. Some of the other PetSafe offerings look more appealing. This should ideally be labelled for kittens I think more than cats as such, unless my cat is just being utterly lazy. I could certainly see kittens being more fascinated by the movement & noise & wish I'd had it around when mine were small, as I was always on the hunt for automatic or interactive toys that didn't cost a fortune. However, with the spring, you'd have to keep a very close eye on young kittens as claws could get trapped, but to be fair, they do warn that ALL play should be supervised. So I'd certainly recommend it for younger cats/kittens but if your's is in its elder years (over 10) then maybe just be aware they may not find enough to keep them interested.

Mis gatos no le hacen ningun caso. Quizas si a parte de moverse el pajaro arriba y abajo, se moviese tambien la bola les llamaria mas la atención.

My kitten was intrigued by it, but his paw got caught on the spring and dragged down when the mechanism bobbed and he was injured. I'm returning it and would not reccomend it to anyone.

El juguete hace lo que dice el anuncio, pero mi gato no lo hace ni caso, se entretiene mucho más con una caja, no merece la pena para el precio que tiene

Llego rapido y bien pero a mi gato no le hizo ninguna gracia.....no le despertó la curiosidad. En mi caso un error.
