Will this work on a LPG bottle

I use it for my Motorhome on my Propane LPG bottle. Works very well!

is it powered by replaceable battery?

I purchased one of these units to check the level in my gas cylinder. I tried it on a 11kg Flow gas Cylinder and it worked once. When I tried it again it showed the cylinder empty when I knew it was full. I followed the instructions and made sure the gas cylinder was clean and also the tip of the unit was square onto the cylinder.I contacted the supplier and they replaced it with a new unit. I also tried the new one on a full gaslow-refillable cylinder and also on the flowgas cylinder and experienced the same problem. I contacted the supplier and they told me the unit would not work on the refillable cylinder due to the construction. They said that it may not work on the flowgas cylinder as they had only tried it on Calor cylinders. In the end I sent the unit back and they re-funded the money.
