I metal detect and this does help with coins that are really bad .I recommend as it helps very well you have to leave for few hours or more

I have been using Renaissance Wax for the protection of my blades collection. Since my blades were new, I didn't need any rust-removing solution. That changed recently when I purchased a 400 years old Wakizashi that had a badly rusted Tsuba. Normally it wouldn't be advisable to clean an ancient piece but since this Tsuba was covered in active rust it was necessary. This Metal Decorroder worked almost miraculously removing all active rust from the metal without leaving any corrosive or toxic residue. The results greatly exceeded my expectations so I have to strongly recommend this product!

I do a lot of restoration work on vintage tools and equipment and, though chemical corrosion removal is a last resort, this is my preferred solution. It is not too aggressive and is easily neutralised with water. If you are serious about restoration work, the Renaissance line is hard to beat.

not given this enough testing yet to make a fully informed decision but it does seem to be a good way to treat delicate items. Personally I find careful use of a bead blaster or a fibre wheel much better but this is designed for a more delicate approach. The main this here is the cost!, this is a measly 200ml bottle; for the same price you can get a litre from conservation resources.

I use this product that was recommended to remove light dust from my antique swords. It worked well. I’m glad I bought it.
