Great little knife, partner was really happy with it.

Excellent knife, real carbon steel razor sharp but don’t get it wet it’s difficult to use the locking device.

Do your research so you get the right one for your needs.
Like any purchase it’s important you research your product BEFORE purchase. This knife is made from Carbon steel. This means it’s very tough and hardy for things like whittling etc. Because it’s carbon steel it also means that it can rust. This can be prevented if you take good care of it. Wipe it if it gets wet and rub oil on the blade occasionally (any oil is fine). Opinel makes stainless steel knives specifically for picnics, cutting fruit etc. This knife is for someone who wants a workhorse. Like all good workhorses- you have to take good care of it. It’s good for fine detail work when whittling. I chose the no 6 because I have tiny hands. I also want it to be more portable. For the quality of knife you’re getting the price is great! Just do your research beforehand so you buy the correct one for your needs.

Great little knife. Super sharp and great value. Don’t forget this is high carbon steel if you leave it wet it WILL rust. That’s just the nature of the product.
