This product doesn't do anything helpful. It hasn't made any difference to the scratches on my car. Please don't waste your money on this product.

I want something to remove light scratches on my chrome lid on my kettle, would this work?

It may work, no guarantee. It's ok for light scratch but anything deeper no positive coverage to hide imperfections.
