Organic Raw Hazelnuts 500g by Hatton Hill | Whole Nuts, Filberts, Unsalted, Shelled, Non-GMO, Great for Baking

Before online reviews for food, life was much simpler. We bought something and if it was good we'd repurchase; if not so good we'd avoid. Now there's a plethora of information regarding organic/not organic; GMO free or not, country of origin/ various countries of origin... before you even start on the conflicting reviews for the same product bought at the same time by various individuals. We don't even know if the official product information is correct or if the reviews are genuine!In any case, I have bought fennel seeds by the kg from HHO and they are consistently tasty and stone free/ dirt free/ mould free etc. I use them for tea infusions as my daily tipple. I have also bought 500g of these hazelnuts and they taste fresh so will now purchase the 1kg bag and hope for the same quality.I can't verify their organic-ness, GMO-ness or where they came from. I can't even recommend buying the larger bag instead of the 500g to save money, because the larger the bag the more I tend to consume anyway!I hope this review is helpful and you manage to make a choice and navigate past the Nuts department.

its definitely fresh but it looks like it has been stored next to other spices or in a bag that was used for that purpose. you can smell and taste the other spices.

Nuts looked fresh and were obviously raw as described. Product arrived on time.

Just what I hoped for,as very tasty nuts .Arrived sealed in a good thick resealable transparent bag.Best kept in a dark dry place.I store mine in an airtight Lock-on-lock box.As expected from the description.A Happy customer.
