Classic Electric Amethyst Semi-Permanent Hair Dye (118ml)

My fave purple 💜 Mixed with Ultra violet and Hothot /Cotton candy pink. my always go to colours for 10+ years! I like leaving it overnight because its truly stays for months.It does eventually turns blue (mostly ultraviolet) but yhen I like going over an amplified hothotpink on the whole head and gives even more fun glow to the various shades like a mermaid 💜🩷

So the tubs look so tiny! I bought 2 just incase. But i managed to do my entire head with a quarter of the tub left. Im currently sitting waiting it out. If you dont have gloves dont worry the dye comes off with soap and water and a tiny but of a scrub. I just have a purple tint around my nails now. Ive even got some on my eyebrows! I already know this is going to look amazing. But people please remember if you want it to last longer. Wash your hair less. Wash with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner aswell as only using cool water on your hair. Otherwise it will fade really quick like all hair dye does. Since its semi permanent it only coats your hair strands. I had a balayage done in july (black and purple) Ive let it faded out now its time to redye! Ive done my entire head hoping for a dark purple tint to a lighter purple since it faded out to a light brassy brown.

AWFUL, the colour is claimed to be purple and most definitely is not. I have used manic panic many times before but this time was awful. I bleached my roots as usual then a day later i applied the dye as recommended and left for the recommended time. The dye was purple in the tub but when applied to head was turning blue. I left it for the full time and washed and dried it not only has it made my whole hair texture extremely gummy and breaking it is like a awful washed out blue and has taken very patchy and just over all gross. I wish I did a test strand now but with using the brand in the past I didn’t think I’d need too.

This looks much darker in the tub than it is when applied. It's still a great colour, but it's more on the darker side of a pastel purple (applied to professionally bleached hair). As it's got a blue base mixed in there, as it fades, it looks like a pale bluey purple and has the added advantage of stripping the yellow out of bleached hair.

The colour came out fantastic, the tub was quite small but I found you don't need to use loads of the product. It does stain your hands and scalp easily but I found wearing good gloves and giving my hair a good wash helped with that

Application of the product was amazing! Very easy to use. The colour came out even and not patchy. It’s been about 3 weeks since I’ve dyed my hair and the colour holds longer than the other semi permanent hair dyes I’ve used before. The shade on the other hand it’s completely different story. Straight after dying, the colour was quite similar to the product in the jar - purple on the blue side, quite intense. Beautiful purple glow in the sun and more blue indoors / in the shade. After first wash the dye went completely BLUE! Don’t get me wrong, I still get complements on my blue hair but this is not what I wanted.

Not vibrant very disappointed sloth other colors of manic panic are absolutely spot on

The colour is brilliant and vibrant. Goes on really well and the colour lasts for a while if you know how to look after it. Just wish the tubs were bigger with more product. Other than that, no complaints.

Ich habe sehr lange nach der richtigen lila haartönung gesucht und wirklich etliche Marken durch, auch beim Friseur haben wir viel getestet und dann hab ich die Lila Töne von manic panic gefunden und ich sag euch! Es sind die BESTEN Farben. Leuchten, halten mehrere Haarwäschen, waschen sich schön gleichmäßig aus und sind wirklich unschlagbar in allen Punkten.

Theres literally not a touch of color in my head… waste of money

It turned out different on my hair not purple it became blue

(First, I mix up the difference between purple and violet.. I know one is a bluer purple/violet, so I will just be calling this purple) This stuff is a unique color. And fades pretty rapidly. However, I LOVE the color that it fades into. It's a real fun experiment, watching the colors change. Like a tree's leaves in the autumn months.. If you don't like the color it fades to (I love it, it want from a bluish purple to a purplish blue to a light blue to an aqua color. ) then just re-dye your hair. If you don't like the idea of color fading, get used to it, or don't dye your hair unnatural colors. It does seem to me like it fades faster than other hair dye from Manic Panic, but it has also been a while since I have dyed it a fun unnatural color. This shade looks wonderful on my skin tone personally. Some people look good with other purples, and I found my purple. (Violet?) But this one is unique. I love it.
