Hard working flap wheels made for rough work.
Good price and delivery. These flap wheels are tough. They are made for rough tough sanding. They are not soft and will take down material fairly fast.

Economical. Durable enough.
They work great at a fraction of a cost compared to name brand. I used them for sanding wooden spoons.

Good value
They work as they should. But they do wear fast. All in all, good value.

fit the letter of the description if not the spirit of the description
These flap wheels work as expected. I have used other brands, and one difference I noticed right away is how short the 'flapper' part is, and how stiff it is. My biggest reason for limiting my satisfaction with these flap wheels is that they are not labeled for grit. Lots of information about dimensions (who cares?) but not a single thing about the grit. I have been blessed with a (to me) large collection of tools which I use frequently. In time, I will forget what grit these have as they were delivered. I'll probably mark them with a marker pen, but IMHO they should be marked as manufactured. My impression is that these would be very good for taking rust off steel tools like wood wedges, but not so good for sanding wood, due to the stiffness. I used mine for the inside of a cherry bowl I am turning, and the stiffness made new problems to deal with. Live and learn.

Impressed!
These work perfect for my needs, which is smoothing out areas on wood carvings. The key to making them last is to use lower rpms. If you're sanding larger areas get the bigger ones with 1/4 inch shank to use in a drill. These are for small jobs and if used within their limitations they work great.

These flap wheel sanding discs make short work of sanding for my Dremel
There's not a lot to say here. Either a flap sander works, or it doesn't. In this case, it works and it lasts. I'm a wood carver and a spoonmaker. I was able to sand 15 spoons with only 1 flap sander, so I'm very impressed with the durability, and I will buy it again.
