If like me you are anxious to try a solution to cure failing tent-seam tape, then I can whole heartedly recommend this Stormseal seam sealer. I affected the repairs as per the instructions to all seams where the seam-tape was peeling away. I removed the old seam tape and applied the Stormseal solution. We have just returned from a camping trip to Dorset in our tent where we had the mother of all thunderstorms and a few hours of torrential rain. Not a drop came through the seams. If you want to fix a leaky tent where the seam-tape is failing after years of trouble free service, you really can’t go wrong with this stuff. Easy to apply with provided brush and quick drying. I’m very happy to have found this Seam-sealer as a fix to my problem.

Our awning was dripping from a couple of seams during heavy rain whilst on holiday last week. So purchased this Stormseal Seam Sealer. Have used Stormseal products before to repair an inflatable canoe and they are excellent. I believe the previous version of this Seam Sealer product had a sponge top to apply the solution. This new version with a brush would seem much better. It was easy to apply exactly where wanted. I used about quarter of the bottle to cover about 3 metres of seams, so it goes a long way. However, I don't think the paper tray will last long as it is starting collapse. I think a thin plastic tray (recyclable) would be a better option - even if price went up a few pennies.

Great product (yet to try out and see if it leaks but I have good faith in it) Seller was brilliant at sorting an issue out (I had one out of 2 glues arrive) but got in touch and had it sorted and a new one sent out to me quickly, All I’ll say is if this happens, keep hold of the paper inside the packaging so they can see who packed the items :) Overall very happy And satisfied with the customer service and product

Bought to seal seam tape seals leaking on a drysuit thats only 18 months old, didnt solve the issue, disapointed.

This stuff has been around for years because it does what it is bought for. I have used this alongside Fabsil to keep my tents and awnings dry inside.

I bought this as the seam tape on my tent had peeled off. The tent is at least 20 years old, but aside from the damaged seam tape and the rain inside there was nothing wrong with it. You need to prime this before use. Use a flat surface and something to throw away. When you have the flow and apply to tent, the foam applicator causes the product to become foamy, this is actually helpful as you can clearly see the holes in the seams of your tent. I applied it to my whole tent in less than 5 mins. It's super hot so it was dry within 10 mins. It dries clear. As other reviews have said if you want a more refined finish use a child's paint brush or a small firm paintbrush you are prepared to those away after use. Vinyl gloves would be a trick to as it dries like pva glue on the hands but far more difficult to wash off. If you are time poor and not so bothered about perfect finish you can have this done in 5 minutes. Give it an hour if using a small brush. You can use inside or outside or both. Great product as the alternative was buying a new tent. So exceptionally cost effective. Definitely waterproof.

I've used this to waterproof the seams on my boat cover. Having sealed the outside seams I waited 3 days then with a 'belt and braces' approach I decided to seal the main seam on the inside. The cover was laid on a lawn for sealing and completed within an hour. When it was replaced on the boat I discovered that the 3 day old external seams were now covered in embedded grass. Not quite the look I was looking for. So far it doesn't seem to be leaking but I think it may need mowing soon.

This is exactly as described. It is very easy to apply with the supplied brush and they consistency is perfect as it does not run after drying seems very durable and very pliable.

I was able to repair a GoreTex jacket sold on LeBonCoin as being in "very good condition" with many seams detached. This product worked well for me.
