Graco Magnum25V402 A30 ProPlus Electric Airless Sprayer

I’m very pleased with the Graco Magnum A30 ProPLUS airless sprayer. It performs reliably and delivers a smooth, even and professional finish. It has saved me a lot of time on decorating projects and has worked extremely well. I would definitely recommend it to other professional decorators.

Great paint sprayer, works perfectly.

I’m not sure if I’m unlucky or if this is normal but this sprayer worked only for about 20-25 min and gave up during the work. The engeen was working but there was no pressure at all. Returned for refund. I won't buy it again and I don't recommend it.

100% good. Working well easy to clean easy to use absolutely brilliant very light easy to set up.

When it works it is excellent, but the problem is it struggles with all of the paints i tried. While painting walls and ceilings with emulsion I had constant problems with blockages. it would clog randomly between 1 to 60 seconds of use, sometimes it would unblock if you turn the tip to unclog, but just as often it would completely clog requiring you to disassemble the gun clean the nozzle and reassemble. In doing the downstairs of my house i likely had over 100 instances of this. Each time you do this you can easily lose your position and end up with gaps (especially 2nd coats of white on white). The paint was strained and all new cleaned containers was used at all times. It is not made clear that a 515 nozzle is too small for many quality emulsions, i used dulux supermatt which it simply couldnt cope with. This was confirmed with a call to Graco tech support - at one point the machine completely stopped until i flushed it with water. I followed with diamond matt, which was an improvement but would still block or sputter every 5-10sqm or so harming the otherwise amazing finish. To solve the supermatt issue i had to change the tip (and guard) to a rac-x LP 517 nozzle. The machine is not quite powerful enough for this, but it got me out of a tricky situation. I would not recommend the A20 or A30, likely you would have better success with the wagner 250 as they support 517 tips. You dont really need the high pressure of the Gracos for emulsion. If you are confident your paints will work then this machine will produce a really smooth finish. I added some pictures to try and demonstrate the finish quality.

Honestly a game changer. This is amazing if you doing DIY or construction. You cannot use it around furniture due to the back spray, so is best used in revamp projects and not touch ups. Very easy to use and clean

If you’re looking for an airless paint sprayer then this is a really comprehensive unit for the money. It’s capable of spraying most paints, water-based, stains, varnish or enamels but you will need to vary the cleaning solution to suit your product each time. It does take some time to set up as the instructions are pretty detailed. There is a priming and cleaning process that must be followed to ensure the pump doesn’t clog up. It’s worth noting that you will need some paint kettles or buckets to decant your paint into and use in the cleaning process so make sure they are of suitable size! Also the instructions recommend using disposable paint strainers (not included) to ensure the paint does not have any debris. This USA product is well made and of a professional standard - just don’t expect to grab it and use it quickly, there’s a thorough process to be followed each time to ensure it’s maintained and serviceable. I wouldn’t recommend this to a DIY novice but an experienced DIY-er should be fine as would a tradesman for light commercial use, so long as you don’t exceed the 300lt a year limit.

Started spraying with this machine, worked ok for a while then started spitting, cleaned filters etc but felt the machine was struggling, very noisy I was expecting because it is Graco the noise level would be acceptable. build quality is ok but what I heard about Graco this feels bit cheap, it is definitely made for a couple of uses and looking at the pump replacement kits they are so overpriced.
