The Gift of the Magi: By O. Henry - Illustrated Paperback – 10 Jun. 2016

I have loved this story since first hearing it at high school many years ago. I have read the original in a collection of stories and read and listened to many adaptations over the years. Now I'm happy to have this lovely edition.

A beautiful story from long ago, which never grows old.

There's a short story and then there is a very short story, just 16 pages, which is what this is. Not quite enough for our book club to sink its teeth into before christmas but I guess it got us thinking about the nonsense that can accompany gift buying.

Nice festive story

A very unexciting edition, very basic, but I just wanted the story without the beautiful illustrations of more expensive copies.

It was for me, knew part of the story so thought I would read it so I knew it properly.

A classic for your bookshelf. Such a moving story. I loved it in high school and had my son read it for homeschool.

As previously stated great lesson for all.

It just a small chapter. A book with just 7/8 pages. Is Rs. 250 justified as a price for that many pages? Decide for yourself.

If you’re wondering what love is, read this book. Opens your eyes to what love truly looks like. It’s a short read as well!

This thin classic was expected in good quality hardbound cover. A superior quality,hard paper back would also have been acceptable. One can otherwise download the story and read offline or take a printout!
