Sun Sculpt Cool Toned Liquid Contour Stick Long Lasting Cream Bronzer Makeup - 01 Soft Tan

I’ve been using the SHEGLAM Sun Sculpt Cool Toned Liquid Contour for a little while now, and I can honestly say it’s become one of my go-to products when I want a more defined but still natural-looking face. First off, the shade is what sold me. It’s a true cool-toned contour, not orange or muddy, which makes a big difference if you’re trying to get that realistic shadow effect. It actually mimics the look of natural bone structure instead of looking like bronzer. The formula is really smooth and lightweight. It goes on as a liquid but blends out super easily whether I use a brush, sponge, or even my fingers. A little goes a long way, so you don’t need to keep building it up unless you want a more dramatic look. I also like that it dries down nicely without feeling sticky or greasy. Once it sets, it stays in place pretty well throughout the day without sliding around or breaking apart, especially on foundation. For beginners, this is honestly a great contour because it’s hard to mess up. It’s very blendable, so even if you place it a little heavy at first, you can still soften it out without it looking patchy. The only downside I’d mention is that if you apply too much, it can get a little intense fast, so you really do need a light hand. Also, depending on your skin type, you might want to set it lightly with powder to lock it in. Overall, this is a great affordable liquid contour that gives a natural sculpted look without being too harsh. Perfect for everyday makeup, soft glam, or even full beat looks if you build it up.

I absolutely love this SHEGLAM bronzer! The color is beautiful and gives my face a warm, natural sun-kissed glow. It blends so easily and doesn’t look patchy or heavy on the skin. Wow! This contour is the my new Holy Grail and I'll tell you why. It creates a subtle shadow effect, not an orange or bronze cast like some. It creates a soft shadow that enhances your the shape of your face. It doesn't scream "Hey! Look at me! I've contoured my face!" Which is exactly what I was looking for. The formula is great! It goes on easily, blends out beautifully, and lasts throughout the day. And, of course, the price point is AMAZING. Try it. You'll thank me later. 👩‍🎤💄

Good cool tone contour for the pale girlies! I’ve used it for a few months and I’m quite a fan, sometimes you might need double swatches if your using it on the forehead or nose just for extra color but for cheekbones (what i mostly use it for) it’s amazing! Easy blend with a damp blender or contour brush(even better)! Liquidy formula is best used before adding powders, just fyi! One less star just for slight issues blending if left too long but that is user error usually:3

I have never really been a countour girl because I never really used it. But I do editing amd someone recommended to give my face some depth on camera. I know the color looks muddy, but if you are olive, or on the fairer side, some contours can turn orange. This stays a cool tone. Blush and bronzers can bring the warmth, your contour can create the shadow. Super creamy so it's good on mature skin. Buildable. I love all sheglam makeup. Pic is one coat just to show how much it melts into your iwn skin and matches if your skin yone is like mine. ☺️

This product is OK - SHEGLAM Sun Sculpt Cool Toned Liquid Contour Stick. I am honestly not sure why this has such good reviews. It is probably because of the price point, but that is it. Anyone who is interested enough in makeup to do contours should invest in a better contour stick, and I will explain why below. For context, I have very light skin with neutral undertones (I tan, but I do not go out in the sun, so my skin tone is very fair). So I purchased this in the "Soft Tan" variant. Side note, but I probably would not recommend this variant for neutral to warm undertones because it doesn't sit right with me; looking back, I should probably have purchased "Golden Sun." My hair is naturally a medium brown shade but it has been dyed to a golden brown. With those things considered, some contour shades may look better than others, but there's my opinion on that. Here's my detailed review, with pros and cons and usage advice. CON: First of all, this product blends very poorly. I kind of like the applicator; it's a spongy kind of material that you just dab onto your skin. I dabbed it onto my cheekbones about three times each. I applied it after using my favorite tinted CC cream. First I tried spreading it with my finger, and the product COMPLETELY wore off. I was actually surprised that by the end of my makeup look, I could not see the contour at all. I get the impression that this contour is very poorly pigmented - you'll need to use much extra to get the desired contour. However, if your CC cream, foundation, etc. is tinted, you will absolutely need to buy a darker contour - since the pigment is poor, this contour is very light in appearance regardless of the shade you're seeing in the product images. I bought a Physician's Formula contour/blush stick and this is the product I am currently using, and it's not much pricier, applies creamier, and blends so much nicer with my CC cream or my foundation. It also has a lovely scent. The Sheglam contour has no scent. ADVICE: I would suspect that this contour blends much better if you use a decent quality brush. But because of the poor pigment, you'll likely need to use a darker shade than you expected, or use more product, causing this to run out faster. This contour is *decent* if you do not use a tinted product beforehand. I decided that for the sake of this review, I would apply the contour onto my hand to see its actual shade. It still has a poor pigment, but the contour is visible on my skin. It feels like a lightweight formula and it does not easily rub off. HOWEVER, I also tried applying my Neutrogena Serum Foundation onto my hand along with three dabs of the contour, blended with my finger, and then used a little bit of my Skinfood Peach setting powder, and the contour nearly completely went invisible. Not good - your setting powder may reduce the effectiveness of this particular contour! However, I could also see why someone would want this, for that more "natural" look. Good or a bad thing, depending on the user. CON: I also realize that the application of this contour would be trickier if you contour your nose, forehead, and jawline. Because you have to dab the product on, and because of the poor... spreadability? Your contour might look poor quality depending on the area. I tried it on both my forehead and jawline - it looked bad to me. I also could not imagine dabbing my nose with spots of contour and trying to blend it. Overall, I would not repurchase this. If anything, I am on my way to the trashcan with this thing in hand, unfortunately. That's not to say I wouldn't recommend Sheglam products - the blush was a lot better, for instance.

Sheglam just knows what it izzzzz! I’ve been looking for a bronzer that doesn’t look too orange on me because usually other brands do. I guess I got lucky and picked the right shade. It appears cool but leaves a little warm tone giving it a natural look. And I also love these applicators they have, it’s so convenient and easy without worrying about applying to much. It also blends really well with a brush and it doesn’t look cakey. Totally recommend.

Great contouring cream. When others can start to look orange in winter, this one is perfect.. It goes on easy even if my skin is on the dry side and blends well.
