great idea good quality

Whilst I don't have a huge bunch of keys, I do have several and over the years they have ended up wearing holes in jacket pockets and in the dark I've often struggled to find the right key as a few look and feel very similar. The KeySmart Compact doesn't suit all keys, it doesn't like those that are encased in a plastic handle like those that come with suitcases for example and chubb keys can present a problem. It is perfect for yale and locker type keys and you can organise them however you want. It is slightly fiddly to set up as you have to install spacers between the keys to get them to line up properly but it's by no means hard. I managed to get one chubb key and several yale keys and this works perfectly when I use the extenders. It also makes identifying the correct key in darkness dead simple. Most of all though I love how my keys take up almost no space in my pocket now.

It is great if your sick of keys filling up your pockets, simple ,tidy, effective.

Can't believe I lived without this for so long! There's not much to this device but it is excellently engineered and is very well built. It has reduced my bulk of keys to a much more manageable format, to the point that I can put them in a front pocket of my jeans, something I could never do with my old bundle. The expansion pack I bought with this is excellent and allows me to add in various keys and other items, such as USB stick, Santander cycle fob, D-Lock keys - you just have to factor in that some of these use up a 2-key equivalent. It's well worth watching the instructional videos on Keysmart's website and spending a little time thinking about what order you want the key installed in, considering how often you use certain keys and how you may remember which key is which e.g try to avoid putting 2 very similar looking keys next to each other (this was impossible with my old bundle as they all ended up together). All in all a great purchase and well worth the money for a well built version, there are plenty of knock-offs but if the threads fail or the plates bend you've got an expensive bundle of metal.

After 3 months of using this key storage solution I’ve realised that all EDC key chain solutions are useless I brought this key smart + multitool + nano-pliers The key smart had been nothing but a pain in the arse every night getting home from a dog walk to slide my key out. This might be because I brought the multitool at the same time and trying to find my keys versus the multitool is stupid. Truthfully the screwdriver is poor because the torque action with the handle is weak and the cutter is terrible; it bearly opens an Amazon package. In my option get a good key chain link and ration what you need. Car key + home key + Victorinox, Classic SD is enough for your EDC key chain. There’s no place for the useless kit.

Got this as had one before but the screws had stuck on thread but it’s nice to keep keys tidy but only 4 so no problem. Picked red as it’s easy to see if mislaid but only down side is it’s tight to get keys out of slot but I’m sure they be easier as I use it. Easy to take apart and reassemble with keys so good value.

I like it, I really like it. It's a good idea and as I have only 4 standard Yale type keys its great for me. I also have my car fob hanging off the end it's great. Not really much good if you have a lot of keys? No instructions provided, not really needed, but the use of the washers between each key would have been better explained in instructions. It's a bit fiddly to get the keys and the washers in place and locked in. If you have lots of keys I really don't know how you would extend the body to hold them. Can't find any information on how to get an extension pack, even if one exists? It seems to be a new product and I love the quality of it, very well made and sturdy and the fact you can use just a coin to open it makes changing keys a lot quicker. I really would recommend this, but instead of a card asking to give feedback, a card with some basic instructions and details on how to expand the device for more keys would be a lot better.
