it’s a super cool present for a kid as a child I always dream to have one of those, now I have my own child and I could finally buy it. I love that steam is coming out of it. It’s a super cool addition. Quality is also pretty good. It’s a really fun toy for your toddler it works really well. The tracks are stable. It’s not heavy and not too small or too big.

I saw this train set on Amazon while searching for a birthday gift for my 6 year old grandson. I had good reviews and has a fairly large track, so I gave it a try. The track can be made into a circle, or an oval over 70 inches wide. It is powered by a single rechargeable battery Like AA). It only came with one. This seems to me to be the weakest part of the entire arrangement, but the first charge I gave it allowed the train to run for over an hour. It has an adapter that connects to any USB outlet, and has a red light that goes out when the battery is fully charged. You can put water for the smoke featute into the gold plug on top of the engine, beside the smoke stack, but it seems to take a while for water to work its way into the engine before it initially began to "smoke". Tip: I would use distilled water for this, (just as you would in a steam iron). When you switch on the engine, it has one click that allows the sound of the engine/bell to be heard. If you get tired of this audio, there is a further click to run in silent mode. When turned on, the train has a short delay before it moves. I like this, as it gives the child time to let go of the engine before it starts moving. Show your child how to connect the cars together , so they do not break the car connectors. You have to come in at a slight angle to do it. It comes with 3 cars, two large and one smaller one. I think any child of a good age (5 or above) will enjoy this train set.

I always dreamed of having a train chugging along the outskirts of my Christmas tree as a child, so, since I have a toddler now I decided I would make my dream his reality. The TEMI train set boldly states that one should choose its set above the rest because it has a longer track (measuring the assembled track in the picture at 41.7 x 69.3 in) while "others track is short, not for Christmas tree." Now I haven't owned another train set, so I can't say from experience whether or not the competition's track is too short for a Christmas tree, but I can say that I relied on stated dimensions to determine whether it would work around my tree and bought it, expecting 41.7 in diameter when laid out in a circle. The actual dimensions are 34 x 57. I feel that this is a little more than a rounding error. Maybe it's made for a smaller Christmas tree. Oh, the track comes with 8 curved tracks and 4 straight tracks. The description claims 4 oval and 8 straight. This is obviously a typo and so doesn't irritate me as much.What truly, truly, is irritating is the ungodly noise this thing makes. It has engine noises, cool, I expect this, but then there's the constant bell tolling and the horn that goes off every few seconds. As far as I can tell there are no option to turn this off. Oh! And its loud. You aren't going to snuggle with the kids and wife while watching a Christmas movie with this thing running I assure you.As for installation, my wife had some trouble putting the tracks together and it was difficult to get the train's wheels seated in the tracks properly. After getting the wheels in properly the train succeeded in about 15 trips around the track with no derailing issues. 15 trips was as much as I could take of the noise before turning it off.In summary, if you're looking for a Christmas decoration I would probably go elsewhere. As this is one of the cheaper train models on here I didn't go in expecting a flawless finish or for assembly to be the easiest. I bought this after measuring the dimensions around my tree and seeing that the claims by this company would exceed the required specifications. In the end, the tracks not only did not exceed the specs, but failed. Not to mention the godawful noise.

It actually steams!!! I got this to around the bottom of my Christmas’s tree and my sons would watch it for hours. The train easily went on the tracks and went round and round. Very easy to put together

This train set is an absolute hit with my family! It’s easy to assemble, and the modular tracks allow for endless creative layouts. The realistic features like the LED headlight, train sounds, and actual steam from the chimney make it incredibly immersive.

The media could not be loaded. Train comes with a good amount of track, I bought it for Xmas so I just used the full round track. For being an inexpensive train it has wonderful details and being battery operated makes it self-contained and easy to set up. The smoke feature is not dramatic, we filled it multiple times and we’re only able to get a little bit of smoke out, but it’s not a big deal to me personally at this price point and no fear of kids breaking it either.
