Wimpy Kid
I did buy this book as gift for my someone but returned. The price is reasonable and reading this to the children brings warmth and comfort to the family.

Another great installment
My daughter has read all of the Wimpy kid books. She finds them really entertaining. She has been reading them since she was 7 or 8 and still asks for anything new that comes out at 14!Theyโre great stories that really engage children no matter what their age, which is great - anything to keep them reading. The book is well made and will be passed down to her little brothers in the coming years. Iโm sure they will get just as much joy out of these books as she did. Definitely worth the money

Great for the kids
A funny book for all kids although not really a benefit in learning comes from the book! Wouldn't recommend to people who are looking for a literature benefit to reading, but would recommend to people who are trying to get their kids more involved into reading!

Warning - this is a very funny book!
This book is one of a series about a boy called Greg Heffley. All the books in the series are written from Greg's point of view.In this diary he wants to spend his summer inside, but his mother wants to spend time together as a family. This leads to loads of hilarious situations.I have lots good reasons to like this book, but one of my favourite bits is when Greg and his best friend Rowley have to pay off a bill of $2,500 and start their own business up doing odd jobs. I also like the part when Greg gets a dog called Sweetie who won't leave him alone and really annoys him by barking even when they are having dinner.Greg is in middle school and the book is set in America. There are lot of funny parts which had me laughing out loud. I especially love the illustrations because they set the scene and are cartoons which are funny to look at.I recommend this book to 8 years and above. I have read this book four times and never tire of it!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days (book 4)
I chose this rating (five stars) because I think this book is hilarious, for all the family and a great collective idea with lots of books to read as the same charters but, with different stories in them. It would be easier is you started with the first book but you can start with a random one if so. It costs a bit but I think it is totally worth it!! I love how it is funny and at one point I was rolling on the floor laughing!! There is not anything that I dislike.. I don't think... naw... I would recommend this to everyone because Jeff Kinney is amazing at writing books and all of his books are brilliant!! Comment written by Niamh Gallagher. Xx

Best book ever
Best book of diary of a wimpy kid collection. Probably the best book ever. Dog Days starts with Greg Heffley and Rowley Jefferson going to Rowley's country club after school closes for the summer, but Greg is kicked out, because he complains of even the smallest predicaments (such as the lack of a tiny umbrella in his cocktail).Greg and Rowley decide to do a lawn care service called the "V.I.P. Lawn Care Service". Unfortunately, the job is a fiasco when the boys have never used a lawn mower before.Greg's birthday comes, and he wants money. During the party, Susan confiscates said money to pay off Rowley's dad's smoothie bill from the country club. Greg also gets a Ladybug, a cell phone that can only make emergency calls and home calls.Greg, Rodrick, and his mom go to the local pet store. Greg gets an angel fish but Rodrick, on the other hand, gets a pet pirahna which he doesn't take care of. After a trip to the waterpark, Greg finds that the piranha ate his angelfish while they were gone, upsetting Greg. Then Heffley get's a new dog, Sweetie, which causes significant problems for Greg's summer.Greg and his mom meet Rowley's family in a supermarket. Rowley's mom invites Greg to the beach, which his mom agrees to, with disastrous results. Greg is afraid that his dad is going to sell him to an orphanage, and he calls the police with his Ladybug phone. After a long talk with the police, Frank gives the cops the tickets for a baseball game, and it turns out that Frank was giving Sweetie to Gramma. After losing a "video game tournament" to Rowley, Greg is upset, but sees pictures of the summer that mom took and rethinks his summer. Perhaps all he need was a little nudge in the world after the summer adventure. Greg is now satisfied on how this crazy summer ended. The first picture shows Greg and some other boys who's moms think that they spend to much time playing video games in stead of "funner things". The 2nd picture shows Greg reading and getting his hair cut at bombshells beauty salon. The 3rd shows Greg looking out the window and sees Fregley is naked.Nice pictures arent they?
