Fantastic size and easy to use, 45°/ 60° & 90° all in one place, it's made from thick rigid plastic and works very well. I think it is good value for money

It claims to have an internal width of 23.3cm. I measure it as 18cm, and 23cm EXTERNAL. So if your skirting board is 19.5cm .... you can see the issue. Otherwise, it looks like a good product. Just bad description.

Worked well for cutting some skirting boards to size and at 45 degree mitred angles to go around corners. As other comments have said, it is made of plastic and where your saw meets the base it is quite thin, so you do end up sawing through it. After 8 cuts I had done what I needed, but nearly sawed through the base. Fine if you need it for a small one-off job, which is OK for the price. Not recommended for larger jobs or as a permanent feature of your toolbox.

Ideal for the DIYer

I cannot saw straight I have tried but I am rubbish doing it so when I saw this and how wide it was I had to try this out. I am so pleased with this as I have just managed to put up cladding in my kitchen and each piece has been sawn straight. The best thing I also liked about this Mitre box is how safe it is to saw as everything is contained inside the box so there is no danger of the saw slipping. Highly recommended

Exactly as ordered, a tried & tested tool.

If you want your skirting to look like its been installed by a baby Orang Utan let loose on some timber with a bread knife then this is the tool for you. It has all the accuracy of a US airstrike on an Afghan Taliban stronghold, i.e missile starts off aimed at downtown Kabul, ends up hitting a garden shed in Droitwich slightly injuring the owners Cocker Spaniel Theres cheap and cheerful and theres just cheap.... As an ex c & j needing a deep box (oooh missus) for 17 cuts I got this thinking it would be a breeze for such as I, I wouldnt have to make a box for some 7 inch skirting myself or hire in a whizzy electric gizmo at £2000 per day from my local honest hire shop Instead after just a couple of rather shaky slow cuts that showered me in a hail of black plastic I found this incredibly difficult nay impossible bit of tat a pain beyond measure to use to get a proper finish and ended up cutting all mine by hand and that was far more accurate a method. God knows how your average DIY-er gets along with it.

This mitre box is of a decent build quality for the price. However there are no grooves in the bottom for the different angle cuts which means you will eventually saw into the plastic. I find this unacceptable for Draper

ist in sehr preiswertes Produkt , trotzdem sehr stabil . andere sind um einiges teuerer . ob das auch was für einen Handwerkerprofi ist , kann ich nicht beurteilen .

This is exactly what I was looking for to cut my 5 1/2" base molding. It is very sturdy and will be a great tool to have.
