We used these in a very noisy out door event because customers found it difficult to hear our retail staff. While these may not be the loudest PA systems ever, they are perfect for our needs. They amplified the voice of our staff just enough for customers to easily hear and understand whats being said without feeling they were shouted at. In fact, most customers didn't even notice the speaker. We would place the speaker on the counter between our staff and customer. These little amplifiers even gave our staff more confidence and made the whole sales process more pleasant for everyone. On a full charge, we'd often easily get 8 hours or more out of them... and that's with the volume nearly up full at all times.

It doesn't have anything to attach it to my belt. It can only be put around the shoulder. So a bit limitng.

What a fantastic piece of kit for an amazing price. I used it for doing puppet shows on trains. Of course the volume isn't going to fill Wembley Stadium, but it is certainly loud enough for a large room or train carriage. It's so light you don't notice it around your waist and the black colour blends in and looks professional. Buy it!

I brought this amplifier as I teach a zumba class and needed a little extra help to project my voice but also had to be hands free. To purchase a PA system would cost me about £150-£200 which was far to costly for me at the current time as I was just starting up, so as soon as I saw this for £30.99, it was perfect. It arrived within a week, I adjusted the waist belt as it was faaaar too big, put the head piece on and plugged it in, it was ideal! I use it on full volume so everyone in the class can hear me over the loud music, but it's just right and it totally saves my voice (and my breath!) The only negative is that it has an american plug, which I was not aware of, so I had to purchase an American to UK plug adapter, so I was unable to charge for a couple weeks. However the battery lasts forever so it was not a problem to wait as I use it about 2-3 hours a week. I would and have recommend it

First one just stopped working so I ordered a replacement and that stopped working too - annoyingly right in the middle of a talk I was giving to 30 people outdoors. Not good at all.

I was a little anxious that this wouldn't be up to the job due to the price but boy was I surprised. I host walking tours of 30/40 people in an often noisy environment and this little beauty did an excellent job. brilliant. easy to wear, easy to use. everyone heard me clearly. I cannot rate it highly enough.

Really can't fault this little amp. It's light and powerful enough for a group of 10 -20. Built in battery with charger and reasonable quality head microphone. The sound quality isn't brilliant but is more than adequate for speech applications. Excellent value.

This is an effective unit suitable for use with relatively small groups where you might have difficulty being heard because of ambient noise e.g in a street. It is not a full throated PA system so don't expect to be heard by a large crowd when you use it. It is simple and straightforward to use and the microphone support is light and not uncomfortable to wear. You can wear the speaker unit itself on a waist belt or possibly even carry it on your shoulder but make sure you keep the mike away from the speaker or you will encounter feedback screech! Charging the built in battery is easy using a shaver point or similar but be aware that the unit does only have a US style two pin, flat plug. To charge the unti in a normal UK 3 pin socket will require an adaptor.

I tried a slightly cheaper brand and it was junk. I wasn't expecting much with this one but to my surprise it's a great purchase. I can turn the volume up to maximum as long as the unit isn't close to the microphone. If it's too close it screeches as any unit will do. The webbed waist belt is very very generous so I can wear it low on the hip instead of around the waist and that solves any feedback possibilities. It has a nice plastic buckle. The mic needs to be close to the mouth. The stem is a bit long for me but its bendable so that's not much of an issue. The headset is a comfortable wire and can be worn closer to the back of the head and not mess up my hair. There is a discrepancy between Amazon's description of 50 watts vs the enclosed documentation stating it's 12 watts. Since it is much louder and clearer than the junk one at 12 watts, I believe this unit to be closer to 50w and not 12w. The sound produced is very clear so I'm glad I didn't buy one of the high dollar amplifiers. I cannot speak to it's longevity but everything about it seems quality. Time will tell but so far so good.

It lives up to all expectations and more.. be careful if you have it up load and someone is standing right in front of you. It will be much too loud and can actually damage peoples hearing but it will definitely scare them. The mic is directional and you can aim the pick up right at your mouth. Works best when mic is almost touching your lips..It is great for doing speeches at activist protests.. excellent product and beats bull horns..

I was disappointed with this product when I first started using it.. and considered returning it .. I had turned the volume up all the way .. and my voice still wasn't very loud ..?? However ..after using the AUX for playing music .. It would be VERY loud with the Volume turned up .. ?? Couldn't figure it out ..?? Then a brilliant Idea ... Let's try a different Headset Microphone .. pugged in another mic that I used with a similar product.. & the problem was solved !! The unit works TERRIFIC now !! Very loud vocals.. The Headset Microphone that's included with the AMP .. at lease the one I received with it ... is a piece of CRAP ! I recommend this unit .. But you may need to use a better Headset Microphone !!!
