Char-Broil Advantage PRO S 3-3 Burner Gas Barbecue Grill with TRU-Infrared Technology and 900 °C Sear Burner Stainless Steel

I spent a full day researching barbeques before buying this one. The Char-Broil Advantage Pro S 4-4 made the short list, and hits a sweet spot, having very good construction without a lot of pointless features. If this BBQ is the right size for your needs, and you don't want to spend a day doing research, then just go for it. We opted to pay extra to have it assembled for us, and felt the reduced hassle was worth the cost. In its debut, the BBQ cooked a lot of food very quickly -- chicken, burgers, sausages, etc. With the lid down it doesn't take long to fully cook the meat, while leaving it juicy inside (good flavour). If you use the 900 C searing side burner, it will give you a thoroughly seared result (darker, drier) -- so be sure that's what you actually want! Clean-up wasn't too bad at all, actually. The grills assemble very precisely, and the bespoke cleaning tool is well designed. The Char-Broil accessories seem very over-priced, however -- i probably should have purchased a generic cover instead, costing one quarter of the price.

Well made and easy to put together. Very solid with good quality materials used. The only downside is that as a European model it is designed for the Euro gas bottles. The largest UK bottle that will fit (under) is 6KG, there is also a round hole that the bottle sits in, but the UK gas bottles don’t sit level. However, I fixed this by using a round piece of wood (I happened to have a Lazy Susan for cheese, etc. which fitted perfectly). Also you’ll need to get a new bottle adapter as the one provided doesn’t fit UK bottles. But if you have Go Outdoors near you they sell the adapters and gas. They are far cheaper than B&Q

Looks good, solidly made and easy to put together with simple to follow instructions. Cooks steaks perfectly on the sear plate, chicken cooked on the main grill remains juicy and moist a promised. Still get slightly uneven heat distribution but you learn where the hotter and cooler spots are quite quickly. Better cooking results than a Weber which was nearly 3 times the price. Time will tell how long it lasts but can’t beat the cooking results or the purchase price at the moment.

Great piece of kit, but could be so much better. Package arrived undamaged, unpacked everything and discovered that the left side panel was damaged; must have been damaged before it was packed because the packaging was not damaged, Managed to straighten the panal sufficiently to fit it. The on line instructions for building it were good, but its easier to fit all the panels together before fully tightening the screws. I thought that the control knob for the searing control was supposed to be red, but mine was the same colour as the other controls. Design seams good, but I cannot understand why the gas supply tube and the gas supply to the searing ring have to drop down the front of the bbq, they could easily be routed to the rear and out of sight. Overall I am very happy, it cooks really good.

This review isn’t about the barbecue cooking itself, but about being able to put it together in a timely manner and action completing the construction. Firstly, you’ve got to download an app which gives you step-by-step instructions, no hardcopy , no option to download a hardcopy to a laptop. As it’s an app that you just download, you can only do it on the smart phone therefore you’ve got a 6 inch screen to look at, half of the screen is a photograph. The biggest issue was that the gas pipe was supplied separate from the regulator and wasn’t attached to the feed pipe on the barbecue itself. It’s impossible to put those on unless you’ve got a vice that you can clamp the regulator in and push the pipe on. there’s no leverage to actually put the pipe on to the burner feed pipe itself. I’ve had a chat-broil for 20 odd years, which was fantastic and the reason why I bought another to replace It. However certainly would not recommend this considering I spent 2 hours trying to g to put it together and did NOT succeed. Returned it for a refund.

Great BBQ. Could do with netter weather this year so we can get to use it. But it is a good BBQ. Takes a bit of putting together

Had this for almost a year now. Excellent BBQ - plenty of space on the grill. Solid when built (which to be fair did take a few hours! But you only need to do it once) Cleaning has been a breeze. Searing station is great for steaks.

The assembly instructions were very clear and the finings were clearly labelled in blister pack, however due to the number of parts it still took about 11/32 hours to assemble. Seems sturdy and well finished. First cooking produced great results. Only time will tell how well it lasts though...

un produit de qualité où le montage est simple et bien documenté, attention sous les robinets aux tuyaux d'arrivée GAZ qui ne sont pas mentionnées au moment de la mise en place du blobc supérieur ! Donc cachées !!! Je suis heureux de cet achat.

très bon barbecue, seul problème c'est que le tuyau de gaz est déjà périmé à la livraison Il doit doit être en stock depuis longtemps Du coup j'ai, acheté un tuyau garantie à vie

A churrasqueira está tudo operacional, sem nada a acrescentar, relativamente ao envio o mesmo não foi bom serviço, chegou a Portugal rápido mas depois demorou muito a entregar, cerca de uma semana à espera já em portugal para a entrega

Prima di acquistare questo barbeque ho fatto una ricerca su internet e di prodotti ce se sono veramente tanti....ho girato anche diversi magazzini ma nessuno mi convinceva alla fine su Amazon ho trovato questa marca per altro Texana e ho pensato che l'America è la patria del barbeque e leggendo le recensioni mi sono fidata: il barbeque si monta facilmente è robusto ...i materiali ottimi, la temperatura arriva a 350 gradi ...ancora devo prenderci la mano cmq cuoce benissimo ...arriva subito a temperatura...veramente utilissimo il fornello laterale ...dovevo friggere e lho usato senza sporcare la cucina ....usato anche per la pizza ... .......ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.... Unica cosa ho preso una bombola da 25 litri ma l'alloggiamento è per quelle bombole basse e tonde di solito da 5 litri e non conviene comprare visto che costano molto e la durata è minima .....CONSIGLIATISSIMO

Acquisto del 4 novembre 2024. Per questione di tempo montata oggi 7 dicembre 2024. Ho abbandonato una Weber Genesis del 2006...questa strutturalmente parlando,ti fa venire da piangere...non ho ancora cotto nulla. Tenterò e qualora sia sola una mia paturnia, provvederò a rettificare la recensione!!! 15 dicembre per fare comuni bistecche. Probabilmente grandissimo squilibrio temperatura rilevata e reale... più che un BBQ sembra un'affumicatore... credo che non possa essere definito neanche un giocattolo. Se questo brand è convinto che i BBQ si costruiscano così,siamo innanzi a una truffa. La brace in questione sfiora i 900€... consiglio di cambiare strada... Attenzione...la cromatura o come cavolo si chiama,della griglia superiore,si è staccata dalla stessa durante la prima pulizia. Non oso immaginare se fosse successo durante una cottura...da denunciare!!!
