Is this pedal compatible with roland td 4kp and how is the sound?

It is probably compatible. The sound depends on the TD 4KP. Not on ththe pedal.

Will this work with Ktmp1?

For help with your query, please get in touch with tech support via Roland Backstage.

Does this need a rubber mat and/or anchoring to stop it moving around, or is it ok just on the floor?

The KT-10 has built in anchor bolts recommended for us on V-Drums mats or a carpet.
