Potassium Iodide, High Purity Crystals, 99.8 % min., 100 grams

Awesome for science experiments. Seems to be quite pure.

I'm a middle school science teacher and like to make Iodide solution as a reagent for elephant toothpaste. The chemicals are excellent quality but come in coarse crystalline size (1mm+ crystal size). If you need to dissolve small quantities of these Potassium Iodide crystals I would recommend getting a mortar and pestle to smash them smaller. You can also place the crystals in a freezer ziploc bag and smash them from the outside but do expect to get holes in the bag and powder everywhere.

I have used this product for some time and it works excellently. Great for everything from pesky dermatological conditions to reversing cancers, this stuff works. This is what you use to take gram level doses of iodine, just like iodine pioneer doctors Albert Szent-Georgi, the Nobel laureate that isolated Vitamin C, and D.C. Excellent product. Arrived quickly & packaged very well. I coach an elementary school Science Olympiad team that uses iodine reagent in the testing of powders. We were literally down to our last few drops that had been provided with a sample test kit & the iodine reagent itself wouldn't arrive on time for our last practice together, even using Prime. I was very hesitant to make iodine reagent myself (I only volunteer as a SO coach, my career is in real estate & business), but it wasn't difficult. In the long run I was able to make more than enough for my teams to use this year, and making your own is A LOT more cost effective than ordering premade. I stored what was left of the solution (probably 1/2 gallon) and still have plenty of powder left to make more if needed.
