Snow Peak Trek Titanium Cookset, Ultralight stackable camping cook set with pot and lid convertible to pan, foldable handles with mesh carry sack, suitable for camping and outdoors

I have only used it at home so far, instead of the normal ceramic mugs I always end up chipping and breaking, and it's perfect. I read the discussions about single wall vs double wall titanium mugs and was worried that boiling tea might cool down too quickly. Not a chance. Straight from the kettle and into this mug, it is still piping hot 35mn later with the lid on, and still very hot 20mn later without the lid. Perhaps liquids cool down faster when camping in cold temperatures or when the mug is only half filled, but at room temperature this mug keeps liquids hot longer than an ordinary ceramic mug. And since it's single walled you can even cook in it when camping. Light, elegant, impervious to rust, volume measures etched inside and excellent at keeping liquids hot. It's brilliant.

Top quality like all snow peak kit. Nothing to complain about. Would like it to be slightly thicker walled but still plenty strong. Some people don't like the lid but I've never had any problems with it. Plus it is titanium and not stainless like some claim. Just seems to have a slightly different surface finish probably to do with how it's pressed compared to the pots main body. Really can recommend.

When traveling light, and if I was restricted to one universal 'do it all' cooking/drinking pot, then this would be it. Good quality, weighs nothing, easy to clean ..... perfect. One word of advice though, never put it on the stove empty, or it WILL burn and discolour a little, I love it.

I have four different sizes of Snow Peak’s camping cookware and this is the most annoying. I complained to Snow Peak and received the usual customer service rubbish sales reply. Check out the lid, clip may seem good idea but not when trying to pack the thing. Lid falls off continually. Go for the 600 mug. Much better.

Works great with my new iso stove! The lid doubles as a strainer and speeds up boiling. 100g iso canisters fit inside with the stove, and the net holds everything together. After using it on a full day XC ski trip, I’ll definitely keep it in my day pack!

Only the mug was delivered in the box. The picture and and listing stated a set of 3 items but only 1 item was delivered.

I used a different titanium pot until recently, due to unexpected abuse (I slipped and tumbled off the trail, down into a ditch, and landed upside down on top of my backpack - the pot was inside the backpack) the pot became dented, badly, beyond repair or use. The dented pot was a less expensive, thin-walled titanium pot. I read that the Snow Peak Trek 700 is made of a thicker titanium material. This Trek 700 pot is much sturdier, and is still very, VERY LIGHTWEIGHT. A better quality pot compared to my previous, dented pot. It heats quickly, and retains heat a bit better than the previous pot. It will take more cooking use to evaluate, but burnt food (ramen, egg) seems less prone to stick to this pot, so far. The pot lid is also quality titanium, does not snap-fit on the pot, yet remains planted on the pot while cooking. The lid has a drain hole, for draining off pasta, and a sturdy side-loop lid handle. The pot handles fold flat for packing, and open to provide a very sturdy grip for the pot. The handles do get hot while cooking (pot holder recommended). When packing up, the Trek 700 holds my ISO butane canister and stove burner under the lid, with a little extra space left inside for packing small items. The 700 ml capacity makes it large enough for boiling water, cooking pasta and ramen, plus just the right diameter for comfortably drinking coffee or tea (as a mug) without spilling. Pouring hot water from this pot into a cup, or to rehydrate a trail meal, is easy to do. I plan to cover the lid handle with something non-snaggy to protect the mesh carry bag from getting snagged or ripped.

I’ve never had an issue with Snow Peak pots. The handle on this isn’t as good as the one on the 600/450/300 mugs, and I don’t like using it as a mug, but it’s a pot. The lid is heavier titanium (not stainless), and it’s a little rattly.
