The temperature aid!
Monitor the temperature of your abode / boat / mansion/car/anything other from afar. This item connects via Wi-Fi and keeps consistent temperature monitoring at your fingertips. Application is easy to use and the item is well made and it's durability. This system detects temperature and humidity and can give you a readout in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Functionality varies you can simply get the temperature or you can go to the extreme and allow trigger points. Such as if your refrigerator gets a little too warm due to the climate that you're in it can automatically turn on the air conditioner to cool the ambient air to help the fridge work less hard. You can set warning cues if the refrigerator or freezer is getting too cold and or too much moisture persist in the air. This little Wonder resolved my issue regarding refrigerator temperature in a 25 plus year old fridge. Note; unit comes in nice packaging and works with the Smart Life app. In the packaging you will receive two-way stickers/installation and program instructions and the thermometer. The battery case in the back is the actual mouth bracket and has access points to screw in or use adhesive to a wall.

These woork great with SmartLife
Needed to monitor the temperature of my LiFePO4 batteries in my campervan - *and* ambient temp to keep my dog safe in case of needing to leave her inside (the added living space A/C unit in the van also reports ambient and outlet temps). These sensors paired with the SmartLife app with no problem and setting alerts was easy. I also like the temp history graphs in the app. (I no longer buy any such devices unless they are SmartLife compatible). The biggest issue is the time between reports - several minutes or only a few times per hour. The temperature rarely changes fast enough for this to be a serious issue. I'm sure this is balanced with battery life, which is quite reasonable. I use NiMH rechargeable batteries and get 3 or 4 months before the "low battery" warnings. The batteries that came with the unit lasted about a year, as I recall....? All-in-all, a great little monitoring devices at a great price.

Worked fine for 3 months - then STOPPED forever.
BUYER BEWARE! I purchased this unit from "SENCKIT" on Aug 21. By Dec 6th - it completely stopped working. I won't again buy from this company. For the 3 months & 1 week that it DID work - i had it in our bedroom and it appeared reliable - but i had to change batteries every month. Then on December 6th - my Senckit Temp Sensor simply stopped. Not a clue why. What do i mean by "stopped"? When i ask, "Alexa, what's the temperature in the bedroom?" Alexa says, "Bedroom isn't responding. Try checking its network connection and power supply." So i fired up my bluetooth & ran through all the "Fix Protocol" as follows: i remove and reinsert the two AAA batteries. That doesn't work. I press & hold the little reset button for 5 seconds. While it's held down it lights steady Red; and after 5 seconds when i let go - the light goes off. So i press & hold for 10 seconds. When i let go - it stays ON / steady red. It never blinks; it only stays on steady - and during this time, never any connection to Tuya app. Similar attempts with the "Smart Life" app, and the Senckit Temp Sensor doesn't connect there either. I tried new batteries. No dice there, either. I tried double-clicking the reset button - that didn't work. I tried changing the WiFi network. Nope! I asked around in this page's "Customer Questions & Answers" area - and i got NOTHING. Not from Customers; not from the manufacturer 'Senckit'. Ultimately - i threw my Senckit Temp Sensor in the trash where it belongs (glad i remembered first to rescue my fresh AAA batteries!) Learn from my mistake! I wish i'd not wasted my money on Senckit's plastic junk! :(

Great product, lousy battery life.
It works very well. It was easy to set up I can use the app or my Alexa to check the temperature and humidity anytime. It will even graph temperature trends you can set up for like the day or the month or even the year. It seems to be fairly weatherproof. The big problem is battery life, the batteries go dead very quickly I feel like I get about a month out of one battery so that's pretty expensive. My sensors that are placed inside the house seem to last much longer at least twice as long as my two that are outside. I have one in my backyard one in my Greenhouse one on my back porch and one just inside the house. I'm probably going to have to go to rechargeable batteries or maybe lithium batteries but it's a good product it works as advertised I haven't rigorously tested it for accuracy but it seems to be fairly accurate to me

Cheap but good
Really simple set up and easy to use. These censors use the Tuya Smart app on your phone which is basically a catch all app for Chinese smart home products from litter robots to smart bulbs and everything in between. App is easy to understand and navigate but had limited functionality for these sensors, such as a history graph for temperature/humidity that you can't control the time frame and notifications that are not very clear All that being said these are cheap and just work, no complaints here.

They work but poor documentation.
We travel a lot, and wanted to watch the temperature in various parts of the house when away. These were relatively inexpensive, but lacked complete documentation. There were a several things I had to figure out trial and error. Things that if explained in the tiny 2 1/2 by 2 inch tiny print folded sheet (see pic) would have saved me lots of head scratching. For example... they come with degrees C default. That's fine, most of the world uses that. However, changing from deg C to deg F was not straightforward. I clicked on the setting button and hit the deg F button. A tiny window opened up that only lasted about 2 seconds, that said change would take effect the next time the item "woke up". OK, waited till next day, still did not show deg F. Putzed around and figured out that you had to push the little reset button under the battery compartment for that to take effect. No mention of this in the documentation. Pairing it with my WiFi was problematic, as it wouldn't connect at first. I found that if I do it within 10 feet of the router, it did work. Anywhere else it fails. Once paired, I was able to put them (I bought a pack of 4) everywhere in the house and they responded. Again, no mention of having to pair nest to the router in the documentation. Then, they claim to work with Alexa, which we have. What a nightmare getting that to work. I never did, and gave up on that feature. As far as accuracy, when all four were placed side by side and let acclimate, the temperatures only varied 1 deg F between them, and the humidify readings were all within 5% humidity of each other. Again, better documentation, starting with print you don't need a magnifying glass to read, would have made the whole ordeal much more painless.

Easy to set up temperature sensors...
Where I live there are issues with pipes freezing in deep winter, and I wanted to know how the temperature varies in the places where this happens. I also wanted to know how the temps were in the upstairs bedrooms. So, I got these four sensors and scattered them around the house. They work with an app on the phone where you can see the current measurements and a bit of history in graphs. These are kinda fun. An important feature not easy to find is the ability to download data. It's a little bit clunky, but you can get 24 hourly temps and humidities from the daily graphs and daily temps and humidities from the monthly graphs. You display the graph you want data from and hit a share button, which will ask for an e-mail address. It will send a link to the e-mail address, and the link will give you a download of the data. Even though this is clunky, it prompts me to add a star and say these are pretty good for the price. My only knock on them is that the software defaults to Celsius temperatures, and it is slow to respond to changes in preferences. I've had this for maybe a month, and at this point only two of the probes are showing temps in Fahrenheit. When you change the preference, it tells you that it will update when the probe wakes up again, but it's been a month...

Works, but degraded Alexa capability.
I had problems getting it to connect to Network. It finally did, though I don't know what the magic word was. Anyway, it reports temp & humidity with what appears to be decent accuracy for my task (freezer monitor). The data appears on the SmartLife application, once I got it connected. Not sure if the problem was the HW or the SmartLife. Instructions included were not accurate/out of date with the application. But it wasn't too hard to figure out what to do (just kept getting errors). Alexa is another story. Once in the SmartLife, it connected to Alexa application easily. However, the Alexa application display will only display humidity, not temperature. Voice operation does work, and Alexa will respond with both. But you can't read it in the Alexa application, nor can you make routines using Temperature. Alexa+ claims to be able to make one, but when I looked at the actual routine, it looks like Alexa+ had grabbed a thermostat instead of this device. Alexa+ is still beta, so this *may* change in the future, but I have my doubts. Researching, this appears to be a problem with multiple devices that use Tuya guts for both temp and humidity, so this problem is not just with this item. This also appears to be a problem with Google as well (I can't verify, I don't use google) This has been reported for at least 2 years, so unlikely to change now. I've heard reports about the battery life being short, mainly for the generic Chinese part that resembles this one almost identically. This may or may not be true (and may depend on the batch as well)--I haven't had it long enough to comment on that personally. Bottom Line: It does what I want for my specific use case. But I doubt if I'll be purchasing any more due to the degraded Alexa capability.

Super, funktioniert einwandfrei. Klein aber oho

Buen producto, falta pasar datos a alexa u otras aplicaciones, solo pasa % humedad, no temperatura
Aunque si muestra temperatura y humedad, no los pasa a Alexa para tomar acciones, solo pasa el valor de la humedad

Good price per unit
Works for me purposes. Cost per unit is very reasonable. Changing from C to F. Took a while to figure out. Make preferred choice. Choice only happens when there is a new communication between the app and devices.
