Powerful, convenient workout for small spaces
An elegantly designed, rugged, portable and affordable option for strength training. The Evo Gym team is very responsive, and their training videos are easy to follow and extremely helpful. We are in our 60s and searched for a solution that would serve us both. The interchangeable bands are brilliant, and unlike the other options we extensively researched, it is easy to store and has a very small footprint. It takes up such a little space unlike other fitness equipment while achieving the same goals, which was a key factor in our purchase. This is the best piece of equipment we have that is part of our routine to strengthen muscle to support bone. We appreciate having the ability to work out without having to go to a germy gym, pay expensive monthly fees and having the Evo Gym in our home encourages spontaneity. The Evo gym is the ideal solution, and we are very happy with the quality and versatility. So glad we found it!

Effective for travel and injury prevention
This is a great product and company. The CEO and founder, Mitchell, is very responsive and cares about his customers. I emailed him asking a few questions about how to most effectively use the bands for bench, deadlift, and squats. He gave me some pointers and ideas to try which were helpful, and he sent me some bands for extra weight. These bands can really mimic a heavier load on the barbell when you stack few 50 pounders especially. I have a shoulder issue that I think was caused or worsened by squatting with a higher load on a disc in my back, so I've gotten away from the traditional weights and wanted to give bands a try. First time I tried a traditional squat with these bands and the barbell that comes with it, I felt a pain in my shoulder. I released the bar quickly and my shoulder was fine. If that was a weight I would've been in more pain and would've had to put the plates down somehow, so this is already safer than traditional weights. I then moved the bar from behind my neck to a front squat and tried ~250 "pounds" of resistance bands and it was a good challenge. The range of motion feels natural and its easier on my joints and avoided that dang back-to-shoulder rotator cuff pain I have. This is an effective solution, especially for people in my situation. Helps that these bands are easy to travel with!

Great Unique Set; Short-Term Max Out over Long-Term Goals
This is a great piece of equipment. I was looking for gym equipment that was not too expensive and that also utilized resistance bands. The EVO Gym is exactly what I was looking for. I've had it for three months, and it has become a staple of my weekly routine. I have been able to advance through hypertrophy every week with the EVO Gym, with most of my current PBs being at the max weight available with the 220 lb set plus a couple outside resistance bands. While I do love this set, it is better suited as a short-term solution for strength/endurance training at home for beginners, people coming back from an extended absence of training, or a suitable fill-in while saving up for more proper, more loadable equipment. It also is a bit too pricey, and I think it could be sold for a $20-$30 discount in my opinion. Don't buy this if you are looking for a long-term alternative to typical gym equipment, but DO buy this if you are looking for a somewhat affordable alternative that you can use for a couple months.

2 Months in using EVO - And this home gym is GREAT!
I needed something that would be an upgrade from my old/regular resistance bands that you have to step on etc. for workouts and wanted to find something that would provide improved resistance training that I could do at home, in a small space, since the gym or home gym with free weights etc. isn’t an option right now, so I thought I’d give this a try, and it more then fits the bill! I find that the option to use the “notches” on the bands is genius, since you can get decent eccentric resistance since you’re able to have some tension throughout most movements. Something I was not able to achieve with other resistance bands that had almost nothing until you were halfway to the concentric contraction because of the length (and no base to attach the bands too). Since starting with the EVO, and it’s ability for many various resistance exercises for the whole body, I’ve already noticed good gains and definition In my muscles and overall fitness. I’m a skinny-ish older guy, so I’ve also been adding a lot of protein and some extra calories to my diet to maximize my results. The build quality of the base and accessories is great, and all the printed info received with the product, the online videos from Mitchell (the owner) are really very helpful for a basic overview of what you can do with the EVO. Also their customer service has been really great and quick to respond (thanks Jim Reyes) with some of my questions etc. I saw some other reviews regarding people having frustrations with changing the bands on the base between exercises, and I get it, it’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you “get it” it’s not really that bad at all, and you’ll get fast at it (look at it as your rest time between sets). But I do agree that the door anchor/band connection bracket can be bit “clunky” to work with, but it’s pretty ingenious for how it can work with the notched bands, but yeah, I do struggle with it at times. I also really appreciate that Nomadix makes sure you are very aware of the limitations of resistance bands, unlike other companies that usually just gloss over this, or don’t even make you aware that as these latex bands get older, or are pushed beyond their ability they may snap. it’s happened to me with other ones I’ve had, and yeah, it's jarring, but that’s just the reality of these things. Just got to remember to try to inspect them as best you can for wear etc. At least Nomadix offers FREE replacements if a band should break, or is received with any issues! I’m a VERY happy customer, and really have been enjoying getting my motivation back for muscle building & strength training since seeing my results with the EVO - Thanks guys!

Satisfied with this system
As a life long, naturally thin, non-exerciser that maintained weight by being active in hobbies, I suddenly needed an exercise routine to battle menopause weight. So far, this system fits the bill. It helps me tone muscles and I dont need to buy a gym membership. I cant speak yet on durability but I believe if a band breaks I can just ask for a replacement and its free. The system is versatile and not cumbersome. Also it doesnt break the bank and does not occupy a lot of space. Worth the small investment in time and money.

Very portable and easy to use!
I chose the EVO Gym over other options because it's portable, reasonably priced, has flexible lifting options, and is easy to use. I live in a small apartment and travel regularly, so the portability aspect was key for me. I shoot for 2-3 times per week and alternate between two of the full-body programs that were in the user manual. I keep a spreadsheet to track the exercises, notch settings, weight, and reps. The positives: The portability rocks. I store it on a shelf in my bedroom and use it in my living room. Everything about it is very compact, which I love. I've definitely noticed improvements in my strength and tone since I started. Changing bands and notches is very easy. Even with 30 seconds rest between sets, I can do a full-body workout in 30-40 minutes, which is perfect for my schedule. The negatives: A few small things here. I don't use the door hook at all because I'm worried about damaging a door in my apartment. That said, doing everything on the base works great for me. The first notch is too high to get a full range of motion for bench press. I put a couple of pillows under my back to elevate myself, which helps. I tried following the original instructions to store the handles inside the base, but I found this very frustrating and couldn't get them seated properly so the base would close all the way. My frustration went away when I started throwing them in the pouch with the bands. I went from not lifting at all to lifting regularly with noticeable results after about 2 months. Since the positives are all around the big things and the negatives are really nits, I feel this warrants a 5-star review.

Game changer
La différence avec les autre systèmes, c'est que l'on peut ajuster la longueur. Cela est un "game changer" important qui fait toute la différence sur l'expérience de s'entrainer.

Not recommended
Evo Gym Review: Not Recommended After a few months of use, four bands have snapped despite following instructions and having 20+ years of training experience. This severely limits the available resistance, making the system nearly useless over time. Additionally, the advertised resistance is misleading—I only received a total of 180 lbs, which is insufficient for single-arm and heavy compound exercises like squats, bench press, and deadlifts. There are more durable and versatile options available such as the Harambe system. Would not buy again.

Even works for seniors
As a 'senior' needed some resistance training that could do at home a couple of times a week without overdoing it. Still getting the hang of it, but easy to use , well made and very convenient when we don't have the space for anything bigger.

Buon allenamento in poco spazio
