The string broke and wouldn't go back in after the first pull for loading. when I tried to close the camera to pack it back up for shipping back the back door hinge broke and the whole thing just fell off. This was really a bummer because I owned one of these a long time ago and got quite a few runs out of it before I eventually lost it in a move. Leider war meine Kiste an einer Ecke schon gesprungen, weshalb ich einen Stern abziehen muss. Es ist erst mal merkwürdig mit der Lomo zu fotografieren. Kein Sucher (bis auf das kleine Silikonloch an der Seite das auch eher wackelt als das es eine Hilfe wäre) keine Batterie und eine Schnur zum Ziehen um ein neues Bild zu schiessen. Nach den ersten 5 Bildern hat man den Dreh aber raus und sucht nach Objekten. Ich bin sehr gespannt auf die Ergebnisse vom ersten Film, der mitgeliefert worden ist, damit man gleich loslegen kann. Alles in allem bin ich zufrieden und es ist (bis auf die zerbrochene Kiste) wie erwartet. Kaufempfehlung: Für alle Mutigen, die eine andere Art der Fotografie wagen wollen.

Rubberized coating was sticky to the touch, would leave fingerprints, smudge off and leave fingers sticky. I thought I might be able to just clean it off at a later date with goo gone or something so i tried loading the camera. The string broke and wouldn't go back in after the first pull for loading. when I tried to close the camera to pack it back up for shipping back the back door hinge broke and the whole thing just fell off. Lomo macht Spaß

So good, so fragile
The pictures are so good, when it works. I’ve had two of these and they both broke really quickly (one even sorry of… melted? The outside went all soft and sticky). Get one to have fun with and don’t expect it to last beyond the first roll or two.

Eben nur ein Spaßgerät
Habe mir nicht viel erwartet, dass dann aber sogar der "Sucher" nur Spaß ist macht diese Kamera meiner Meinung nach ziemlich untauglich. - Vielleicht aber gefällt gerade das anderen Benutzern.

Great for anyone.
Out all the cameras I've owned, the Supersampler is one of those things you can always have fun with. Easy to load and has the typical wind up for advancing film. I brought this to the beach, around the city, and almost everywhere and took some of the most random shots. Gives a creative feel and is a definite must have if you have a passion for photography. It's a fun way to utilize 35mm film and achieves a look that a typical point & shoot digital camera can't do.
