Do you have to be pushing the sides of the bottle while feeding it to baby?

When baby is hungry, you push the buttons. This releases the Agitator which allows the formula to drop into the water. You shake it up (either by a side to side wrist motion or and up and down motion) and then feed baby. After you press the buttons to release the agitator, there is no further need to push the buttons! (As well, the agitator stays in the bottle and just floats. This is particularly useful when away from home, since you don't have to open the bottle, either before or after the use).
