AQA Biology: Higher Workbook: Get Revision with Results (AQA GCSE Science 3rd Edition)

Purchased because it complements both the required Oxford 3rd Edition Text Book and the Oxford Revision Guide. Although the Revision Guide does include some study information for the Higher Tier, I wanted something that would focus on just that. Although only two weeks into the course this book looks like it could be what I hoped for. This workbook is printed in all black and white and contains 169 pages of purely studying by questions and answers with plenty on space to write the answers on the pages. The remaining pages 170 to 187 are the answers, loads of them crushed together in small print. I intend to photocopy the pages so that I can work from them constructively. The only small complaint about the book is that it would have been a nice idea to make more of a study feature of the ideal answers (not worth though losing a star over it). The chapters and subjects appear a first glance to be in the same order as the text and revision books. Each subject is covered by a page of questions specific to that topic. At the end of each chapter is a page of exam style practice questions. This is followed by a Checklist page where you can review how well you feel you know your stuff. I am looking forward to starting working with this book.

Lots of exercises that are useful if you ran out of past papers. Makes learning so much easier. All the topics included.
