Seal Designs10 x 30mm LED Lights Deck/Decking/Kitchen Plinth Blue **Now with IP68 Waterproof Transformer

After buying my first set of these decking lights I was happy with everything about them, so much so that I ordered a second set to extend them to the front edge of the deck.There was an issue with the second set of lights that was resolved by the seller, I was sent white lights instead of blue.However, we are now 9 months later and it seems that nearly all the first set of blue lights are failing. Some stopped working completely and others have dimmed or work intermittently.I have had 5 individual lights exchanged by the seller but this involves removing the lights, posting them back and waiting for the replacements to turn up, all the time with no working lights and empty holes in the decking.I now have more failing blue lights and I think they are the remainder of the original set.So fat the white set seem fine so fingers crossed.Obviously I hope that we just got a bad set but it isn’t really the best situation to find yourself in.

I had bought 4 sets of these lights a while ago and they started to fail, eventually they all went off, thinking this was not a reliable product I did not replace them. Recently I had to take some decking up and found the mice had eaten almost all of the wiring!I have bought 4 more sets, the plugs and transformers have been improved, they are working fine and the quality is very good. I have had to deal with the Mouse problem and coated the wires with hot chilli sauce for good measure.

Had to have 3 replacement spots as the spring clips were broken.18mths on the transformer stopped working.The help from Seal was non existant and because I aired my displeasure at this , they wouldnt sell me a replacement which meant the whole set is now useless.By all means buy and try but if they fail...then GOOD LUCK...!!Very unprofessional..!Would NOT recommend..

I bought two sets of these for use in a new decking installation and installed 18. A few months on one has failed completely and one now has a dead LED. The build quality is flimsy and I don't hold out much hope for the rest. They have been installed in an expensive hardwood deck with secret fixings, so replacing is a major exercise. Not pleased at all.I would say avoid these for outside use.

Edited review 09.04.2016.Installed, connected and working perfectly along the leading edge of wooden terrace overlooking our fish/-duck pond. Just enough light to improve the ambience without the "glitz". Time will tell if they last, but optimistic.

It took me a eternity to find who to buy lights and I was pleasantly suprised there are so many products and companies these lights were absolutely perfect easily assembled 22mm cut out in plinth perfectly slotted in see the pictures for yourself definitely buy again no need to look around buy these !!!!
