Top of the tree for a zero-hassle asian dinner!
In the seething hotbed of innovation that is today's instant. noodle sector, these (and their curry brethren) REALLY stand out. I'd say I prefer the curry version but it's laksa that takes me back to my days in the Straits. Note it's a BIG packet, about twice the size of an Indomie. This isn't a quick lunch snack, it's the base for a complete meal when you're home alone and don't feel like cooking - just add some pimping-up materials (cooked chicken or fresh prawns work) and a fried egg, fresh leaves, and crunchy onions if you're REALLY fancy. You get a REAL asian flavour profile here - I'm pretty sure even my Malaysian friends would be fooled if I served it up and hid the packets!!! Definitely recommended. Don't buy the one-off packets for £7 though - a multipack brings the price per packet down to £3-4 which is serious value.

As a lover of instant noodles (samyang, mama, koka, indomie, nissin) when i heard that these were some of the best I didn't hesitate to pay the price for as a youtuber said.. Something that tastes like you'd get from a restaurant. Upon opening the packet I instantly smelt fish food, through back to feeding my fish as a child. I completes the instructions step by step, doing this literally stinking my flat out. The fish food odour was pungent. I thought maybe it will taste different when its done like lapsang souchong. Nope nope the taste wasn't as strong as the smell just cardboardy stale fish food. Disappointed was an understatement

Ok, but not real laksa
Bought this because I was in Laksa withdrawal waiting for my ingredients to arrive. It was ok, nothing more.
